Welcome to this coffee meditation.
A time for you to sit and be mindful and drink that cup of coffee or tea and sit with yourself and experience the peace that is available to you in this present moment.
So take a present breath and settle in,
Feeling the cup in your hands,
Giving yourself permission to be fully here and to relax,
To practice mindfulness of this moment,
Allowing the busy mind to unwind,
To slow down.
This is your time to relax,
To drop into your heart and to breathe.
So take a sip and feel the cup in your hand and just give yourself the permission to be fully here,
Right here,
Aware of every moment with your cup,
With your breath.
Noticing your lips,
The taste on your tongue,
Noticing the aroma,
The scent of your breath,
The smell,
The taste.
That's right.
Let this be your special time to relax,
To let go of thinking or planning.
There's nothing else for you to do,
Being here and present is enough.
To use this experience of drinking to be your time to relax,
To simply notice everything around you,
Allowing everything to be exactly as it is.
To simply see your environment while you are aware of your breath.
That's right,
Right here,
So relaxed.
No need to plan.
Everything will be there when you need it.
Notice your breath and notice the taste and the aroma and the warmth in your belly.
Noticing your body and how it feels.
Allowing your body to relax even more,
And even though your body is so relaxed,
You are alert,
Present,
Very much aware of the breath moving in and out.
Feeling the ground beneath your feet,
Allowing support to find you.
Feeling the environment that you see and that you feel.
Allowing yourself to be wrapped in love and comfort and security and safety.
Right here in this moment,
All is well.
With every breath,
Letting everything be just the way it is.
There's nothing to fix in this moment.
All needs are provided.
Feeling how nourished you are,
Feeling with every sip of love.
Acknowledging that this moment is providing everything you need.
There is nothing missing.
The moment is so complete.
And in the completion of this moment,
Allowing the feelings of gratitude to simply bubble up within you.
Perhaps even in the words,
I am so grateful.
Grateful for the moment that is so complete.
Where you are so supported.
You are completely provided for.
Completely nourished.
Simply loved.
That's right.
Loved.
With every sip of this love that you drink,
It is like you are sipping on the nectar of love itself.
Love is who you are.
And in this present moment,
With the quieting of the mind,
With the acceptance of all that is here.
It so allows you to tap into the love that you are.
And gratitude,
And feelings of being so blessed,
Ripple in your body.
Saying I am so grateful.
And knowing that your day will begin soon.
That you can take these feelings and these ideas into your day.
To continue this knowing that you have so much to be grateful for.
That all your needs are met.
You are nourished,
Supplied,
And blessed.
And as you move into this day,
Fully refreshed,
Bathed in this love and gratitude,
You know that this is your day.
And you are at peace knowing all is well.
