When you're ready,
I invite you to get into a comfortable seated position.
Your legs could be crossed,
Your legs could be resting on the floor.
It doesn't matter.
Just make yourself comfortable.
And in that seated position,
Bring your back to a straight and upright position.
Let your hands gently rest on your lap in whatever way is comfortable.
And now bring your attention to your breath,
Breathing in through your nose and breathing out through your nose.
A gentle,
Easy breath.
Today we will be doing a form of Vipassana.
Vipassana means to witness.
So all we are going to do is to witness our breath moving in and moving out.
We could be witnessing the feeling of the air as it moves in and as it moves out.
We could be sensing the temperature of the air as it moves into our nostril and out.
It could be the sound of our breath.
It doesn't matter.
We just simply observe and we witness.
Once we begin the silence,
You will hear a bell.
And if you go through,
There will be a second bell.
And when the silence is ended,
You will hear three bells and we will start to come out of our meditation at that time.
Now imagine a golden white light surround you,
Embodies you,
And as it does so,
You are filled with complete peace.
All contrast disappears and there is a nothingness.
But this nothingness feels like home.
You are actually lost in the allness and the oneness of infinite wisdom.
With every breath you breathe,
You go deeper and deeper into the nothingness,
Into the peace,
And experience pure love.
Just simply breathe and allow it to expand.
Begin to bring your attention back into your body.
Feel your fingers,
Your toes,
Your shoulders,
Your hands,
Your neck.
Begin to move it all around and realize that throughout this day,
With every breath that you breathe,
You are breathing in your connection,
The new you,
The more expanded you,
The balanced you.
You have tapped in to the truth that you are one and with every breath you will be reminded of that oneness,
Of the perfection that exists within you at all times.
So when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes,
Come back to this time and this place and step out and welcome this perfect day.
