This was a big deal to me. My mom's 80th birthday. I was trusting that we were gonna get exactly what we needed. I noticed a new part of my mom come alive in the group setting . She loved being around all those young ladies. The sound of laughter was like medicine. The yoga sessions were perfect. The time of day and the perfect balance of gentleness and strength. It felt grounding too - knowing it would be there. The go around the table times were special. I wish we had done more of an introduction maybe the first night. The night when you cried and said how much you love doing this and felt joy jumping with me - COME ON - my heart was bursting too! I think it’s great there was permission for people to go deep, but didn’t have to. Doing the headstand the first day out there and you snapping the pic and saying, “You don’t need me!” That was a high point for me. I loved siting next to you in the van. I learned that everything doesn’t have to be expensive. You didn’t hire guides or packages. You get out there and just do it. You made nature your playground. That felt really powerful. I felt nourished when you would cook and serve. The pancakes were like warm hugs for my belly and soul. Bringing snacks in the car - “Want a PB&J?” This is what Jenny retreats are made of. My favorite memory was jumping off the cliff. You didn’t force me. You were available to me. You were with me. It’s something I will carry with me for a long time and use as a Resource as I do brave things. The retreat brought a new perspective to my life. I learned from you that adventure is in our backyards. It also brought courage to me. Witnessing you step into your dreams, gave me hope and permission to do the same. I think others should go on a Retreat hosted by you because of your heart. You carry generosity, it was clear that you were there to have fun and share it with others. Your life says, “Come on in, the water is fine.”
