Raymond & Johanna Maria will lead the sessions, and are both certified breathwork teachers. Unprocessed experiences and emotions lead to stagnation in your breathing and therefore, you can cut yourself off from the flow of life. With breathwork, you can start to release these blockages and emotions, so you can allow life to flow again. Ancient South American, Australian, Indian's and African shamans relied on breathwork as a tool for healing. Controlled breathing was used for its ability to heighten consciousness and access the spirit, leading to mental, emotional, and physical healing. But last century, we lost this simple, natural, and powerful way to access our deeper states. The intention of this retreat is to initiate you back into this old way of approaching holistic health. With different breathing journeys and rhythms, you are going to experience the power of the breath! It's a way to heal, to release emotions, to transform energies, and to enter altered states of consciousness where the Universe can speak to you. With the years, our offering became an extension of our individual and family-life. Casa Rico is located in Finestrat, a mountain village in the province of Valencia. We are surrounded by mountains, and our place is fully off-grid. The guest-spaces are ecological and rustic, we have animals and love to be active with permaculture and self-sufficient projects! We noticed that everyone has such a unique eating rhythm and pattern, that we want to honor that in the retreat by creating a more flexible and self-serving vibe. You have the freedom to make your own food in our outside community kitchen. You can enjoy your lunch outside in the sun right in front of your yurt, by yourself or with your fellow retreat-mates. At any time, you can prepare yourself a herbal tea and grab some snacks. There is always fruit, veggies, and nuts and we will make sure that the foods that you love to eat are available. We as Casa Rico Retreats intent to prepare the main dinner of the day for you! It might even appear that we share a diner within the retreat with our family and the group. But as well, feel the freedom to cook for yourself if you like that. You have a big and well designed outside kitchen, barbeque and wood-fired oven!
