Details

Imagine an ancient place. A place of remembering. A place that whispers the old stories - of the land, of our ancestors, of our timeless soul. A place to re-connect - with the wild, with yourself, with each other. A place that reveals what we were meant to be: human beings. not human-doings. Step away from the distractions and noise of everyday life and allow the endless spaces and open skies of the NamibRand Nature Reserve to gently guide you towards inner peace and clarity. This retreat is not just about being deeply immersed in this ancient landscape, but is also an inward journey - Where silence and solitude provide space to reflect and tune back into the whispers of your soul. Playful explorations inspire a renewed bond between your inner self and the natural world.

Location

Hardap Region, Namibia

Namibia is a captivating country in southern Africa, renowned for its vast landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and abundant wildlife. Known for its dramatic scenery, the country boasts the mesmerizing Namib Desert, with towering dunes at Sossusvlei and Deadvlei, and the striking Skeleton Coast, famous for its shipwrecks and desolate beauty. Namibia's commitment to conservation is evident in places like Etosha National Park, where visitors can observe a wide array of wildlife, including elephants, lions, and the rare black rhino. The cultural tapestry of Namibia includes Indigenous groups like the Himba and San, alongside urban areas reflecting German colonial history, as seen in Swakopmund and Lüderitz. The capital, Windhoek, blends modernity with tradition, providing a starting point for exploring the country's wonders. With its welcoming people, stunning natural beauty, and adventurous spirit, Namibia offers a unique and unforgettable experience for travelers seeking exploration and cultural immersion.

Located in the heart of NamibRand Nature Reserve, Wolwedans is more than a collection of camps. It is a collection of dreams. Wolwedans is a sanctuary of space, silence, and soulful connection. Our collection of unique camps and lodges invites you to explore this extraordinary desert landscape, where rolling dunes meet endless horizons, and nature’s rhythm inspires true tranquility. Wolwedans was born in 1995 from a dream shared by the late Albi Brückner and his son Stephan. What began with four humble igloo tents has evolved into an iconic collection of camps and an active Foundation, all driven by our visionary “AridEden Project.” Wolwedans will quietly continue to do its work, contributing in a meaningful way to the conservation of NamibRand, the development of Namibia and its communities, and driving Rural Revival, the building of a Desert-Based Economy. By staying with us, you’ll contribute to meaningful conservation of the NamibRand, sustainable rural development, and the preservation of Namibia’s natural heritage. Here, we honor a philosophy of People | Planet | Profit – ensuring every visit helps secure a brighter future for the land, its wildlife, and its people. Be our guest and become part of the change we all want to see.

Located in the heart of NamibRand Nature Reserve, Wolwedans is a sanctuary of space, silence, and soulful connection. Positioned on the edge of a 250-metre high dune, Dune Camp has the most extraordinary views across the Namibrand Reserve. The lounge, dining area and tea room are spread out across a series of interlocking decks, ensuring that every corner enjoys views across the endless landscape to the mountains beyond. The tented and wooden structures are perfectly designed for the desert, with canvas sides that can be opened to capture the cool breeze in summer, and rolled down in winter to keep you warm.

Schedule

Our days will be focused on soulful wilderness experiences and conscious connection group sessions. Soulful Wilderness Experiences: We spend several hours each day out in the wild on both gentle walks and scenic drives. This time is about gathering experiences, not chasing sightings. It’s about slowing down, sharpening our awareness, and feeling our connection to the land. As day breaks, we tune into the pace of nature through guided shamanic journey meditations and set an intention for our journey - calling in our ancestors, connecting with flora and fauna, and tuning into our intuition. We venture out in the cool hours of the early morning and late afternoon, guided by experts of the land, past and present. Conscious Connection: We balance time together in guided group experiences that are designed to reveal and inspire a feeling of greater connectedness with free time to rest and reflect. We begin our first day by consciously decelerating, allowing our nervous system to settle in preparation for our first venture into the desert. Our second day brings us into flow, witnessed through all our senses. Day three takes us back into our child-like selves, expressed through both play and curious awareness, culminating in a fire ceremony. We conclude our journey on day four by consciously integrating the state of deep connection we have attained and weaving it into our daily lives.

Testimonials

I have met a lot of people along my personal healing journey, but no one quite like Kerstin. She has proven to be one of the most insightful and compassionate healers I have worked with. Her guidance has been wise, gentle and firm - always in accordance to what the current path needs. I'm beyond grateful to have found her and cannot recommend working with her highly enough!

A.O., South Africa

Kerstin is an amazing healer, and I've experienced deep transformations in large part due to the work we've done together. I've done many sessions with her and I'm often amazed at what comes up as she often confirms messages I have been receiving as well. For example, about 15 minutes prior to our second session, I had pulled a card from a deck that was referencing the stone, jade. When she was downloading me on what came up and what was cleared, she shared how I was being surrounded in a jade egg and literally reinforced what I had read on the card. It was wild, and proved to me that she's the real deal! Kerstin has cleared so many blocks, past lifetimes, karma, things that cause me to self-sabotage, etc. using various modalities. I feel very grateful to have her as a resource and support, and recommend her without hesitation.

J.G., USA
