Details
Our Yoga Teacher Training gathers a small, intimate circle of women in Morocco’s Ourika Valley, nestled within a Berber sanctuary called Bab Zouina at the foot of the Atlas Mountains. It’s the kind of place where time softens on its own. Where your nervous system begins to exhale before you even realize it’s been holding so much. Your journey begins in Marrakech, the Red City, founded nearly a thousand years ago by Berber hands. In the Amazigh language, Marrakech means Land of God, and you feel that reverence woven through the city’s pulse. In the medinas, generations of women have passed down wisdom through food, craft, ritual, storytelling, and healing. This training was designed to meet that same lineage of remembering. From Marrakech, you’ll be driven into the Ourika Valley, where Bab Zouina welcomes you into a slower rhythm of living. Sun-warmed courtyards beneath olive trees. Open-air shalas with mountain air that deepens your breath without asking permission. Meals gathered fresh from the garden and prepared by Moroccan women whose cooking feels like medicine. Traditional hammam rituals. Afternoons by the pool as the light stretches long across the mountains. Days shaped by the body’s pace rather than the pressure of a clock. This experience is designed as a full-life reset, not just a certification. Many yoga trainings teach you how to perfect the pose. This one asks: how do you live differently once you’ve transformed? Because when a woman reconnects to herself, it ripples outward into the way she loves, leads, creates, rests, and moves through the world. The women who come to Morocco leave more rooted in themselves. More regulated and radiant. Less interested in shrinking to fit expectations or people-please. Personally, you return home to the body as a place of wisdom. A steadier nervous system, plus deeper relationship with your intuition and cyclical nature. Practices that support you in real life, not only on the mat. Professionally, you’ll receive a 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification alongside a teaching framework rooted in Somatic Feminine Intelligence™ and embodied leadership. You’ll also explore brand-building and wellness entrepreneurship through the lived experience of building a purpose-driven wellness company from the ground up. Through the atmosphere and immersion of Morocco, you’ll leave with: - A 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification and connection to a global community of embodied teachers - A deeper relationship with womb-centered awareness and self-trust - Breath and nervous system practices that cultivate steadiness, clarity, and calm - Meditative movement inspired by African, Asian, and Indigenous wisdom traditions - Meaningful connection with like-minded women in an environment designed for safety, softness, and authenticity - Tools for cyclical living that help you navigate transitions with greater ease and grounding - A more holistic relationship with your wellbeing, vitality, and inner life Your residency includes: - Airport pickup in Marrakech and return transfer on departure day - 14 nights of accommodation at Bab Zouina - Three nourishing garden-fresh meals daily, plus snacks between sessions - Plant-based and dietary-sensitive meals prepared with care and intention - Fresh juices, herbal infusions, Moroccan mint tea, and filtered water throughout your stay - Full training manual and curriculum materials - A traditional Moroccan hammam experience - Lifetime access to the recorded curriculum and continued community support The journey begins with one week of online integration (August 1–7), allowing you to gently prepare and arrive grounded. Then, from August 8–22, Morocco becomes the container for your immersion and transformation. To preserve the intimacy of the experience, the cohort is intentionally kept small — between 20 and 25 women — so mentorship feels personal, conversations deepen naturally, and community becomes something you can truly feel.

Bab Zouina is a Berber-built sanctuary of stone, clay, and open sky. Rooms are dressed in handwoven textiles, low warm lighting, and the kind of quiet that belongs to the Atlas Mountains. Every room opens onto a courtyard, a garden, or a view of the valley. You choose your level of solitude. - Single occupancy for the woman who needs her own room to integrate, journal, sleep deep, and return to herself each evening. - Double occupancy for the woman who wants the intimacy of a roommate, often the start of a friendship that outlives the training. - Triple occupancy for the woman who thrives in shared space, or who wants the most accessible price point without sacrificing the experience. Each room has its own bathroom or one close by, depending on the room style you select. Daily housekeeping is available. Hot water and filtered drinking water are provided throughout your stay. Noble silence is honored from 9pm to 9am every day, so your nervous system gets the rest it actually needs to receive what this training has to offer.

The food at Bab Zouina is deeply nourishing, garden-grown, and unmistakably Moroccan — the kind of meals that make your body soften after the first bite. Mornings begin slowly. Warm khobz pulled fresh from the wood oven. Fig preserves. Olive oil pressed from the trees just beyond the courtyard walls. Moroccan mint tea poured from long silver pots with the kind of grace that only comes from repetition passed through generations of Berber women. Each pour lifted high above the glass to cool, aerate, and awaken the senses. Lunch and dinner follow the rhythm of the land and the season. Slow-cooked vegetable tagines layered with preserved lemon, saffron, ras el hanout, and the soft sweetness of dates. Hand-rolled couscous crowned with seven vegetables, the traditional Friday dish carried through the week. Zaalouk made from smoked eggplant and ripe tomato. Bowls of harira simmered with lentils and chickpeas. Cold salads of pomegranate, cucumber, mint, and the local Berber olives that taste like the mountain they grew on. Everything is organic, non-GMO, and prepared by Moroccan women who cook from memory, touch, scent, and knowing. Between sessions, the kitchen sets out medjool dates, dried apricots, fresh seasonal fruit, toasted seeds, and infusions of verbena, rosehip, and Atlas mountain mint. Cuisines are naturally plant-forward, making vegan and vegetarian guests feel fully at home. Additional dietary needs, including gluten-free, dairy-free, halal, paleo, keto, diabetic-friendly, raw, and nut-sensitive meals, are all accommodated with genuine care and attention. Simply let us know what your body needs, and the kitchen will meet you there. The intention behind the meals goes beyond nourishment alone. This is food designed to support the nervous system, honor the body’s rhythms, and reconnect you to the pleasure of eating slowly, communally, and well. If your body thrives with a more specific approach — whether raw, protein-focused, European-inspired, or otherwise — Bab Zouina’s chef and owner will thoughtfully tailor your meals in advance so you feel fully supported throughout your stay.

Guest requirements
This training is held for women. The container is built around the female nervous system, the menstrual cycle, and the womb space.
Valid passport with at least six months of validity beyond your departure date from Morocco.
Travel insurance with medical and trip cancellation coverage. Required for entry into the residency.
Disclosure of any medical conditions, mental health considerations, pregnancy, or recent surgeries during the application process. This isn't to exclude. It's to make sure the curriculum, the food, and the pacing can hold you well.
An open relationship with your cycle. Whether you're cycling, perimenopausal, postmenopausal, on birth control, or living with conditions like endometriosis, PCOS, or fibroids, you're welcome. What's asked is curiosity about what your body is doing, not a specific reproductive status.
Minimum three months of consistent yoga practice. You don't need to be advanced. You need a working relationship with your body on the mat.
A willingness to learn, not perform. This is a teacher training, but the deeper work is personal. Come ready to be a student of yourself first.
A device with reliable internet for the online integration week (August 1 to 7).
Physical and emotional readiness for an immersive container. Three weeks of daily practice, somatic work, and group process asks something of your nervous system. Arrive prepared to feel, rest, and integrate.
A completed application and short conversation with the teaching team. This is how we hold the cohort intentionally. Not every woman is the right fit for every training, and we want yours to be the one that lands.

The remaining balance for the retreat is due 30 days prior to the start date. If this balance is paid earlier than these 30 days, you are eligible to cancel and receive a full refund of this remaining balance, provided you do so at least 30 days before the retreat begins.
