Details

We are so thrilled to be hosting Nourish & Nurture for a second year! After the magic of last year, we can’t wait to return with even more intention, space and soulful connection. Join us and feel the lake breeze on your skin, hear the loons call at dawn, and let the forest's calm wash over you. Nourish & Nurture is an experience many describe as settling, clarifying and quietly nourishing - something that continues to ripple outward long after the weekend ends. Time to nourish yourself from the inside with plant-based meals, restorative yoga, meditation, and lakeside reflection.

Food is an essential part of your retreat experience: grounding, simple, nourishing, and prepared with so much care. All meals from Thursday dinner through Sunday brunch (plus snacks, tea, and coffee) are included. Northern Edge’s kitchen cooks with intention, using fresh, seasonal ingredients and supporting local Ontario farms whenever possible. Their meals are deeply rooted in sustainability, crafted with the same respect for the land that the entire eco-lodge is built upon. For this retreat, we’ll be enjoying a fully plant-based menu, with thoughtful options for gluten-free, dairy-free, and other dietary needs. Just share your preferences when you register, and the kitchen team will gladly accommodate you. Meals are served buffet-style and enjoyed together: unhurried, communal, and deeply nourishing. It’s a time to slow down, savour, and connect, whether we gather in the dining room or take our plates outside to eat by the lake.

Schedule

What you'll experience: - Daily guided meditation: Settle the mind, cultivate presence, and deepen inner awareness. - Breathwork sessions: Release stress, calm the nervous system, and restore energy. - Restorative yoga and gentle movement: Deep relaxation, rejuvenation, and mindful embodiment. - Slow flow yoga classes: Reconnect with your body, release tension, and find ease in movement. - Opening and closing circles: Set intentions, reflect, and connect with the group. - Time in nature: Swim, kayak, paddleboard, walk forest trails, or simply relax by the lake. - Opportunities for quiet reflection, journaling, and self-inquiry. While the exact 2026 schedule is still being designed, you can expect all of these transformative practices along with additional surprises and new offerings unique to Northern Edge Algonquin. And, of course, all activities are optional. You are invited to follow your own rhythm and rest whenever you need.

Testimonials

info

Thank you again for hosting such an incredible retreat! Still living the high of that bubble!

Eva, Canada

There is a new habit of seeking gratitude before feeling sorry about myself whatever the issue. I hope these lessons remain in me forever. If not, I will have next year’s retreat to fuel my new perspective.

Yen, Canada

I am so grateful for the community of people who gathered to share the space and time. I often feel despair at the world these days. This group reminded me that there is still something to feel hopeful about.
