  • Trauma-informed tools to support nervous system regulation and emotional release

  • Taught by Celia Roberts and Dr Nikola Ognyenovits, GP and addiction medicine specialist

Details

Some healing happens through talking, and some happens through the body and the breath. This 3-day, 50-hour training is for clinicians, therapists, yoga teachers and allied health professionals who want to offer trauma-informed, body-based therapies with confidence and care. You'll learn to bring together somatic embodiment, therapeutic bodywork, conscious breathwork and pranayama, grounded in psychosomatic therapy and evidence-informed mind-body medicine. The focus is on working with the nervous system directly, supporting regulation, interoception and integration through practice rather than talk alone. Across the three days you'll learn to: • Guide safe, trauma-aware breathwork sessions • Use somatic bodywork techniques that help clients feel regulated and embodied • Connect traditional pranayama with modern nervous system science • Hold clear, ethical and respectful professional boundaries The training is led by Celia Roberts BSc with Dr Nikola Ognyenovits, a GP, addiction medicine specialist and breathwork practitioner. It can also be taken as an elective towards a full BIYOME yoga or meditation certification.

Testimonials

info

I was looking for a Queensland based Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy course. I was drawn to this course specifically as it offers a somatic approach embedded in yoga, meditation and Eastern philosophies. This was a great opportunity to be certified in PAT therapy and also begin my yoga teacher training. I did not anticipate how deep and life-changing this journey with Biyome would be. This has been a tremendous opportunity for personal growth... Biyome has given me valuable experiential knowledge of yoga, meditation and breathwork. This has deepened my knowledge of Vedic and yoga philosophy and helped me to develop my own practice. The face-to-face retreats were deeply transformative, and these immersive experiences opened my eyes to what is possible. I realise that I have only scratched the surface, and that my journey has only just begun.

I’m so grateful I completed this program through BIYOME, the online content was rich and so informative, and the in-person intensives were a profound way to embody the learning
