Let's begin by finding our way into a comfortable position.
You can drop your eyes closed if that's right for you.
Bring your awareness to your breath.
Let's just begin by taking a few long,
Slow,
Deep breaths in,
And a full,
Complete exhale.
If possible,
Breathing in through your nose,
A long,
Full inhale,
And a long,
Slow,
Full exhale.
You might sigh it out.
You might make a little audible exhale,
And just releasing,
Seeing if you can soften any stress or tension you're holding in your body.
You might see if you can soften the area above your eyes and your eyebrows,
Softening your jaw,
And dropping your shoulders a bit,
Feeling into the connection between your body and whatever surface is supporting you right now.
You're sitting lying down,
Feeling your body connected to the surface beneath you,
Imagining the earth beneath that,
And recognizing that you're being held and supported by the earth,
Seeing if you might draw in any restoration,
Healing,
Or grounding energy from Mother Earth right now.
You might imagine pulling this energy up through the soles of your feet or the base of your spine,
And feel this grounding,
Supportive energy coming into your body and helping you to settle in,
Helping you to calm and soften and relax,
Allowing each inhale to offer you some relaxation and comfort.
And you might imagine each exhale clearing and releasing any stuck,
Stagnant energy or debris,
Energetic debris that you're holding onto,
Anything in your body or your energy field that you're carrying,
Anything weighty or heavy that's no longer needed,
Just imagining your breath sending that back out,
Flowing into the air,
Going back out into the earth to be repurposed and to be transformed into something beautiful.
Imagine each inhale bringing in peace,
And each exhale clearing and releasing.
If you'd like,
You can join me in placing a hand over your heart,
Or even imagining your hand placed over your heart center,
Establishing the connection between your head and your heart,
Inviting in the energy of compassion,
A willingness to connect to the energy of compassion for yourself,
For others,
And for Mother Earth,
Welcoming in gratitude as well,
Appreciation,
Being willing,
Seeing if you can be willing to bring some appreciation to yourself,
To others in your life,
And a deep reverence,
Respect,
And gratitude for Mother Earth.
Taking a few more mindful breaths here,
And we'll slowly and gently transition out of our practice,
Taking as much time as you like.

You might bring some movement to your body and gently open your eyes.
