Perhaps the dry leaves rustling and crunching beneath your feet.
Are you aware of any animals that you can see or sense?
Just allow yourself to move through this fall scene and watch it unfold,
Adding details as you go.
There is no right or wrong.
What is shown to you will be just right for you.
Just right for you at this time.
Always feeling safe.
Always feeling secure.
Now imagine that you are an extension of nature.
The way you move,
The way you breathe,
Your emotions.
All are extensions of nature.
Take a moment now just to imagine this deep connection you have with the natural world in whatever way is right for you.
It could be a visualization.
It could be through movement or sound.
Whatever feels right for you,
Just imagine and feel that you are an extension,

And you can see the trees letting go of their leaves.
The leaves dancing in the air as they gently float down to the earth.
The trees allowing a part of themselves to wither away and fall,
Rather than hold on to something they don't need.
The trees are showing us how healthy and powerful it is to let go of things.
As you watch the leaves fall,
You can feel this realization welling up within you.
Feeling encouraged to let things go,
To shed what no longer serves you.
And just as the trees nourish themselves by letting go of their leaves,
You can nourish yourself by letting go of your thoughts.
