Welcome to the throat chakra fifth chakra meditation.

In this meditation we will focus on activating,

Opening and strengthening our fifth chakra.

So to begin let's find a comfortable position to rest in.

You may choose to sit cross legged on the floor or sit in a chair or if you choose to lie down be sure your spine is straight and your tailbone and the heels of your feet are touching the ground.

Once you are settled close your eyes and take a deep breath into your lower abdomen,

Into your hara located two inches below the belly button.

Begin to follow the rhythm of your breath,

The natural rhythm without regulating it,

Modulating it or changing it in any way.

Just the natural rhythm of your inhale and exhale in this moment.

As you continue to follow your breath allow the gentle inhale and exhale to bring your body and mind together centering you,

Centering your focus.

With each breath you notice you are breathing a little deeper and slower than you were before.

Deeper and slower.

You release any tension in any part of your body becoming more and more relaxed than you were before.

Release and relax.

At this time I want you to bring your attention to the center of your throat.

Imagine a bright turquoise blue energy spiral spinning gently.

Breathe into it.

With each breath allow it to expand.

This is your throat chakra.

It is associated with sound,

Self-expression,

Authenticity,

Creativity and communication.

When in balance we are able to speak our truth freely,

Lovingly,

Confidently and honestly.

We feel balanced,

Centered and creatively inspired.

We are also able to listen with love,

Confidence and non-judgment.

Breathe into your throat chakra.

Allow this soft turquoise ball of energy to grow in size and speed up in velocity.

Allow any blockages you might be feeling in your throat to melt away.

Any tension or gripping in your jaw area.

Let it go.

You may in your life be feeling creatively choked or stifled.

Breathe deeper into this fifth chakra and allow yourself to let go of any expectations or worries you may be holding onto.

Stay with your breath.

You may also hesitate or feel frightened to speak out in life.

Allow these feelings to come up.

Acknowledge them.

Acknowledge any actions,

Emotions or circumstances in your life that you might be avoiding by not speaking out or expressing yourself.

Stay with your breath.

Bring in forgiveness at this time.

Allow forgiveness to surround you like a warm comforting blanket.

Accept that you can do,

Say and be whatever you want to be in your life.

You can change.

Connect to your throat chakra and allow its power to support you.

Consider these affirmations to support your courage to communicate honestly and authentically.

I have the power to speak my truth and am willing to do so.

I have the courage to listen and clearly hear the truths of others.

I am confident in my feelings and beliefs and my ability to express them honestly.

I am able to hear the voice of my soul.

I respect the power and impact of healthy communication.

Bring your attention back to your throat chakra and this beautiful bright blue light spinning vibrantly.

Imagine this light filling your entire being,

Filling all your cells,

Surrounding you,

Emanating within you.

Surrender to your true authenticity,

To your soul's expression.

All is well.

This time connect to your heart center,

In the center of your chest.

Breathe into it.

Allow any last sense of doubt,

Fear,

Hesitancy or resistance to melt away.

Let it all melt away.

Fill your heart space,

Your heart chakra center,

With love,

Joy,

Compassion,

Courage,

And love.

And acceptance.

All is well.

Take one last time into your throat chakra,

Your fifth chakra.

Take a nice deep slow breath.

Allow gratitude to fill your being.

Give thanks for taking the time to connect to your fifth chakra,

To your truth,

And to your highest self.

This time to bring your attention back into your physical body,

Into this space.

Becoming more and more aware of the breath in this moment.

Aware of your fingers and toes,

Aware of the sounds around you.

Breathe into your entire being.

Take a few more breaths.

And when you are ready,

Gently open your eyes.
