Welcome to the Third Eye Meditation.
In this meditation we will focus on activating,
Opening and strengthening our Sixth Chakra.
So to begin let's find a comfortable position to rest in.
You may choose to sit cross-legged on the floor or sit in a chair.
Or if you choose to lie down,
Be sure your spine is straight and your tailbone and the heels of your feet are touching the ground.
Once you are settled,
Close your eyes and take a deep breath into your lower abdomen.
Breathe deep into the hara,
Located two inches below the belly button.
Begin to follow the rhythm of your breath,
The natural rhythm,
Without regulating it,
Modulating it or changing it in any way.
Adjust the natural rhythm of your inhale and exhale in this moment.
As you continue to follow your breath,
Allow the gentle inhale and exhale to bring your body and mind together,
Centering your focus.
With each breath you notice you are breathing a little deeper and slower than you were before.
Deeper and slower,
You become more and more relaxed than you were before,
Releasing any tension that may be stored in any part of your body.
Release and relax.
Release and relax.
At this time I want you to bring your attention to the spot on your forehead right between your eyes.
Imagine a rich,
Deep indigo circular energy spiral spinning gently.
Breathe into it.
This is your third eye chakra,
The sixth chakra.
It is associated with sight and seeing both on a physical and intuitive level.
The energies it deals with are clear vision,
Intuition,
Intellect,
Inspiration and spirit.
When in balance we experience a strong imagination and we feel at the top of our intellectual game.
We can see beyond the physical world and connect to our psychic and intuitive selves and seek guidance from our higher selves.
Stay connected to your sixth chakra and allow this rich indigo ball of energy to grow in size and speed up in velocity.
Allow any tension you may be holding in your face or tension in your eyes or head area to let go.
You may be feeling a little fearful of opening your mind or fearful to see the big picture in life.
You may find it difficult to concentrate or trust in your own inner wisdom.
Take a deep breath.
Allow yourself to let go of any expectations or worries you may be holding onto.
Stay with your breath.
Consider these affirmations to support you in opening your mind and trusting your higher self.
I let go of all my judgments.
I trust my inner wisdom.
I allow clarity to fill my mind.
I am balanced and strong.
I am united with the vibration of the infinite.
Imagine this rich indigo light filling your entire being.
Visualize the light filling your cells,
Surrounding you,
Streaming through you like a beautiful indigo current.
Surrender to your sixth chakra.
All is well.
Stay with your breath.
At this time I want you to connect to your heart center in the middle of your chest.
Allow any last sense of doubt,
Fear,
Insecurity or resistance to melt away.
Let it all melt away.
Fill the space with love,
Joy,
Compassion,
Trust and acceptance.
All is well.
Breathe one last time into your third eye,
Your sixth chakra.
Take a nice deep slow breath.
Allow gratitude to fill your being.
Give thanks for taking the time to connect to your sixth chakra,
To your inner wisdom and to your highest self.
It's time to bring your attention back into your physical body,
Into this space.
Becoming more and more aware of your breath in this moment.
Aware of your fingers and toes.
Aware of the sounds around you.
Breathe into your entire being.
Take a few more breaths.
And when you are ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Climb into yourself.
You
