All right,

I want to start by closing your eyes.

And we're going to take three deep breaths,

Inhaling from the bottom of your belly,

All the way up to the chest,

Through the very top of your head,

And exhale out the mouth,

Down the chest,

Out the belly.

And another deeper inhale from the very bottom of your stomach,

Carrying it through up to your chest,

To the very top of your head.

And exhale down the chest,

To the belly.

And one more inhale from the very bottom of your stomach,

All the way up to the chest,

To the very top of your head.

And a little audible exhale,

Letting it go as you sink deeper into your body,

Into the present moment,

Letting your breath come back to a natural steady rhythm,

Watching your breath rise and fall,

Becoming curious of your body's natural ability to simply breathe.

Now I want you to do a quick body scan for me,

Coming through your entire body slowly,

Bringing awareness to any areas of tension that you didn't realize you were holding onto,

And simply breathing into those areas,

Sending them some love as you relax even further into your body,

Creating a deeper awareness to what your body is currently holding onto.

As you inhale,

Breathing in a feeling of peace and light,

And as you exhale,

Letting go of any tension and stagnation residing in the body.

Breathing in the light,

And exhaling out the darkness,

Feeling more and more safe in your body as you surrender to this experience,

Enabling yourself to really get out of the mind and into the body,

Feeling waves of peace rush over you like an endless stream of divine bliss,

Letting your eyelids become heavier and heavier.

Now shifting your awareness from the body to the mind,

In order to properly relax and wind down to sleep involves not only calming the body but also calming the mind.

Begin to notice your thoughts without being attached to them,

Simply letting them flow out with the breath.

It's easy to become addicted to our thoughts before sleep,

Staying stuck up in the head,

Worrying about the next day,

Trying to solve a problem and make decisions.

But the more you can relinquish the need to think about absolutely anything,

The quicker you can drift off into sleep.

Let's practice what it feels like to really let go of your thoughts,

Reminding yourself that there is absolutely nothing you have to do or think about,

Feeling the comfort and immediate relief it brings you to truly experience this,

Reaching an even deeper sensation of peace,

A feeling of ease and effortless ability to drift off into the deepest,

Most peaceful sleep of your entire life,

Letting go further and further,

Feeling safer and safer,

Drifting deeper and deeper,

Relaxing further and further,

Letting go over the rest of your life,

Over and over,

Feeling the peace,

The stillness,

The silence,

The simplicity,

Letting your bed carry you off to a magical journey inwards.

Namaste.
