My name is Robert Aceves and I welcome you to this meditation to start your day.
I'm going to ask you to go to a place where no one will interrupt you for a few minutes and close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in and release the air.
Great.
Now I want you to see how you are doing right now.
Continue breathing effortlessly and just listen to what I'm going to tell you.
And then there is a phrase that I love that says,
How you do anything in your life is how you make your life.
If we were to take a drop of blood from your body,
It will tell me how the rest of your body is doing.
If I take one minute of your day,
It will tell me how the rest of your day will be.
So notice what sensations are there in your body now.
Become aware of what thoughts are in your mind.
And you can think of some of the things you would like to accomplish today.
And notice if you feel that you will be able to achieve the things that you want,
Or if you feel that you're not going to be able to achieve what you want.
Many times before even starting any activity,
We already gave up in our minds,
Or we may feel that we are going to be able to do it.
Everything is in our mind.
So what is in your mind right now?
And what would you like to have in your mind?
What do you need to create on what needs to happen right now,
So you can achieve what you want to achieve today?
Take your time.
Perfect.
You may open your eyes now,
Come back to the present.
