So you can begin by laying down on your bed or sitting on your yoga mat and closing your eyes,
Taking a few deep breaths,
Inhaling through the nose and releasing through the mouth and with every breath allow yourself to melt a little more,
Melting the day away,
Melting any worries,
Melting any feelings of tension or resistance in your body and really go deeper within yourself and with every exhalation sinking deeper and deeper into your body and you start feeling a deep relaxation like you have never felt before and you drop all of your muscles down to the earth,
Really allowing yourself to let go,
To let go of the doing,
To let go of the shoulds,
The shouldn'ts and to simply embrace being in the moment.
You can now bring your awareness to your third eye,
The space between your eyebrows and from this point you're gonna imagine a line coming down from your third eye to the base of your pelvic floor and this line divides your body into two halves.
You're gonna have the right side of your body and the left side of your body and I'm gonna invite you to first bring your attention to the right side of your body,
Bringing awareness to the right side of your face,
To your right ear,
Your right eye,
Your right cheek,
The right side of your mouth,
The right side of your tongue,
The right side of your throat,
Your right shoulder,
Your right arm,
The right side of your chest,
Your hip,
The right side of your spine and your right ribcage,
Bringing awareness to your right leg,
To your right knee,
To your right ankle,
To your right foot,
To your right toes and really feeling into the right dimension of your body,
The masculine dimension of your body.
Allow yourself to be fully aware of this entire right side and be curious how does it feel.
Is it comfortable,
Uncomfortable?
Is it expanded or contracted?
Is it open or closed?
Is it easy or difficult?
Just calmly observe without any judgment.
Just be curious about the right side of your body,
Activating this unique self-awareness and the relationship between you and this side of the body.
How do you choose to relate to it?
What kind of relationship is asking for?
We are now gonna shift to the left side of your body and I invite you to slowly bring your attention and your awareness to the left side of your brain,
Of your face,
Of your nose,
Your left eye,
Your left cheek,
Your left ear,
The left side of your mouth,
Left side of your lips,
Your teeth,
Your tongue.
Bringing awareness to the left side of your throat,
Your shoulders,
Your collarbone,
Your chest,
Your ribcage,
The left side of your spine,
Your left hip,
Your left organs.
Coming down into the left leg,
Your left knee,
The ankle,
Your foot,
Your left toes.
And just be present with that left side.
And how does it feel to inhabit this left side of your body?
And just welcome whatever arises without labeling it as good or as bad.
Just be curious,
Activate this unique self-awareness and the relationship between you and this side of the body,
The feminine body.
How do you choose to relate to it?
And what kind of relationship is asking for?
Now you're gonna begin to gently shift again to the right side.
And now back to the left side.
And now gently shift to the right.
And now to the left.
Are you able to observe a contrast between both sides?
And just notice the differences you feel as you move your awareness from one side to the other one.
Is one more heavy than the other one?
More light?
More numb?
More active?
More hot?
Cold?
And just really embrace this awareness with curiosity,
Without any judgment.
And even if you don't really perceive anything distinct,
This is also perfectly fine.
Sometimes this is the very first conscious meeting of both sides.
And it can take quite a time sometimes to establish that connection.
So from this place you're gonna bring your left hand and place it on your solar plexus.
And you're gonna bring your right hand on top of the left hand,
Resting and holding.
Allowing the right hand,
The masculine side or our yang side,
To dearly hold the left hand,
Our feminine side,
Our ying side.
Allowing it to hold it with humbleness,
Care,
Compassion and love.
Allowing the right hand to nourish the left hand,
Making it feel safe and supported.
Allowing the masculine to say to the feminine,
I'm here for you.
I hear you.
I see you.
And I am present with you.
And again,
How does it feel to have that masculine supporting the feminine?
Bring any awareness to any sensation that arises.
Welcoming whatever wants to be felt.
Remember there is no right or wrong.
Now I'm gonna invite you to shift the hands.
Placing your right hand,
The masculine,
Directly on your solar plexus.
And placing your left hand gently over the right hand.
And feel the feminine hand embracing and holding the right hand.
The feminine holding the masculine with care and loving presence.
Allowing the masculine side to be held,
Supported and cared for by your feminine.
Allowing the masculine to soften and relax.
Feeling the power of the feminine to hold space,
To protect.
And allowing the feminine to communicate to the masculine saying,
Thank you for giving me space to protect you.
Thank you for seeing me,
For acknowledging my power.
I see you.
I feel you and acknowledge your power.
And again,
Observe any feeling that might arise from this experience.
From here,
You can bring both palms together in the center of your heart.
Right palm facing left palm.
Acknowledging the reunion of these two energies.
The masculine and the feminine.
And perhaps even their first conscious encounter in this body.
And recognize that together they wave the dance of your life.
And both are equally important.
Yet,
They have very different needs.
And when they meet over and over,
They are able to communicate those needs.
And they begin to co-create a more balanced,
More beautiful life.
A life that expands from the heart space.
If you wish,
I invite you to continue this practice a little bit further.
If you're really feeling the flow.
Coming back,
The right hand holding the left and the left holding the right.
Just to allowing yourself to go deeper with this practice.
Thank you so much for being here.
