This is a meditation to support the beginning of your day,
Or any time throughout your day you need a moment to reconnect.
Start by making sure you are comfortable.
You can choose to be seated or lying down.
Just making sure your spine is straight and lengthened.
Perhaps roll the shoulders and ensure they are relaxed.
Release the jaw and soften the muscles in your face.
And when you are comfortable,
Find stillness.
Close down your eyes.
Come into your body.
Start noticing how it feels.
Notice any sensations in the body.
And witnessing these sensations.
Not trying to overanalyze.
Just be aware.
And then start to notice your breath.
Welcoming the natural rhythm of the breath.
Not trying to change anything.
Just become aware of the air coming in and moving out.
Witness the sensations here.
And now we will take a few rounds of deeper grounding breaths.
On the next inhale,
Take a deep breath in through the nose,
Breathing from underneath the navel.
And pausing at the top of the inhale for a moment.
And then exhale to release fully.
You might like to sigh as you release.
Taking another deep breath in,
Pause at the top.
And when ready,
Exhale to let go fully.
One more round,
A deep inhale,
Pause,
And fully exhale.
Just letting go of anything you were doing prior to starting the meditation.
And anything you need to do after.
Return your breath to a natural rhythm.
And notice how you are feeling at this moment.
You might like to bring a gentle smile to your face as you rest here.
Now we are going to start a body scan.
We are going to be drawing from the Earth's energy to bring grounding for your day ahead.
We'll bring this energy through your whole body.
And as we move through each part of your body,
Bring your awareness to this part and let it absorb the Earth energy.
Welcome anything that arises throughout the body scan and be witness to this.
If any thoughts or distractions come,
Acknowledge this and do your best to come back to the body scan process.
We will start by bringing your attention to the soles of your feet.
And visualize energy from the Earth,
From Mother Nature,
Rising up and connecting with the soles of your feet.
Feel as though you are being supported and grounded by Mother Earth.
Now feel this energy moving into both your feet and spreading through each of your toes.
Notice the energy moving up through your ankles,
Calves,
Around the knees,
Thighs,
The whole sacral pelvic region.
And rising up through the lower and upper abdomen,
Lower back,
Upper back,
Chest,
Spreading across both your shoulders,
And down both arms,
Upper arm,
Elbows,
Forearms,
Hands,
And spreading through each of your fingers.
The Earth energy is moving up your neck,
Your throat,
Reaching your jaw,
Chin and moving through every part of your face,
Your lips,
Mouth,
Tongue,
Teeth,
Cheeks,
Nose,
Eyes,
Eye socket,
Deep into your eyeball,
Eyebrows,
Forehead,
Moving over the top of your head,
Back of the head,
Spreading around the ears.
Feel your whole body surrounded with the Earth energy,
And allow this to pour into the deeper layers of the body,
To every organ,
Muscle,
Tendon,
Ligament,
Spreading through your whole body's system,
Every cell going deeper and deeper into the bones of the body,
Deeper into the matter that makes up the bone,
And spread this energy throughout the entire body,
Making sure no area has been missed.
And continue noticing the different sensations in the body,
The inner body,
Outer body,
And more subtle energy field of the body.
If your mind wanders into thought or stories,
It's okay,
Acknowledge this,
You don't have to go into the stories right now.
Kindly bring your attention back to witnessing the sensations you can feel in the body in this moment,
As you are held in the Earth's nurturing energy.
If you wish,
You can now bring your awareness deep into the centre of your heart,
It can be your physical heart,
Or energetic heart.
Bring and keep your awareness here,
Noticing the sensations.
Now feel yourself open to receiving these statements into your heart,
Beyond the intellect.
Today I can accept that I am enough.
I can surrender to the flow of events as they unfold throughout the day.
I don't have to force.
I can trust that all will unfold as it is supposed to.

Feel yourself deeply connected from within to the universe around you,
And embody this feeling of connection,
And allow it to spread throughout your entire being.
You might like to bring a gentle smile to your face as you receive the remembrance of this deep connection to all that is within and around you.
And remember,
You can pause and access this at any time throughout your day.
If you like,
You can now repeat the following,
Either in your mind or out loud.
May I be open to receive and release what I need to receive and release today,
In alignment with my highest good,
For the benefit of humanity.
You can ask your guidance,
Is there anything I need to know in this moment?
Thank any guidance that you receive,
Whether consciously or unconsciously.
You can trust that what you need to know will arrive in your awareness when it is supposed to,
If you remain open to receiving.
You can start to bring this meditation to a close,
Perhaps deepening your breath,
Noticing your surroundings,
Noticing your body,
Sending love to your body.
And you can bring your palms together at your heart center if you like,
And take a moment to honor your being and all beings.
And now rub your palms together to create heat and energy between your palms.
Then place your palms over your closed eyes.
Blink open your eyes and take in that energy,
And move your palms slowly away from your face,
And you can place them anywhere else on the body that you feel called to.
Thank yourself for taking the time to connect in this way to start your day.
May you move throughout your day with greater inner peace and curiosity.
