This meditation will support you to release the day and bring you back home to yourself.
Make yourself comfortable.
You can be seated or lying down.
If possible,
Have your spine straight and shoulders relaxed.
Become aware of your body and how you are connected and held by the ground in some way.
Bring your awareness to your breath and notice the air naturally moving in and out.
Now,
Take a deep inhale and pause at the top of the inhale for a moment of stillness.
Then,
Exhale to release fully.
Again,
Breathing in,
Pausing at the top and exhale,
Release fully.
One more round,
Breathing in,
Holding at the top and notice the spaciousness here.
Then,
Exhale and feel tension softening and releasing.
Return to your natural breath and notice how you feel.
Notice the body.
Notice any sensations.
Notice any activity in the mind.
All is welcome.
Just be aware.
If you have a lot of thoughts,
That's okay and completely normal.
Just keep noticing as they come and go.
You don't need to analyze them right now.
Just be a witness to their presence and accept they are there.
Now,
From this place of presence,
We're going to focus on releasing the events and energies of the day.
You can set the intention,
I am releasing what I need to release in alignment with my highest good.
If you can,
Feel or visualize anything that you have accumulated from the day's events that you no longer need,
Releasing from your being.
Whatever you did today is enough.
You are surrendering what you no longer need back to the universe with love.
If it resonates,
You can do this with a soft smile and with gratitude.
Keep holding the intention of letting go.
Feel the energy leaving your field.
Knowing that you don't have to know intellectually what you are letting go of.
You may trust whatever it is will be for your highest good.
Stay with this feeling for some moments longer.
If you notice yourself getting caught in the mind by thoughts,
Just gently bring your awareness back to the feeling of letting go.
Knowing that this is completely normal.
You can keep returning whenever you notice yourself getting caught in thoughts.
Keep focusing on the feeling and the intention of letting go.
I will let you know when we are finishing.
And now allow for any final release in this moment.
Trusting that if there is anything further to release,
This will happen in its own time.
Now bring your attention to the space in your heart.
And rest here in your divine light.
Perhaps feeling a deeper connection to your inner self.
Feeling and being with any space that may have been created from this exercise.
And you can ask yourself,
Is there anything I need to know in this moment?
Just notice if anything comes up for you.
It can be words,
Images,
Sensations.
Know that it's okay if nothing is clear now.
Remain open that when you need to know,
You will know.
Now thank yourself for taking the time to release the energy of the day.
Notice how you feel.
If you want to take a moment to spread this feeling throughout your entire being.
Take this time to allow it to spread filling every corner of your being.
Every organ,
Every cell.
And know that you have done enough.
And you are enough.
Just be with this feeling.
And then you can start to deepen your breath.
Breathe in deeply.
And exhale completely.
Now gently bring your awareness back to the environment around you.
You can make some gentle movements to gradually awaken the body.
And if you like,
You can bring your palms together.
Pausing here,
Noticing your palms connected.
With a gentle smile,
Send love to your inner child.
If you like,
You can rub your palms together,
Infusing them with positive energy.
Then open your palms and cover your eyes gently.
Taking in this energy.
And gradually move your hands away from your face.
And move forward the rest of your day with kindness.
