Self-Love is a gateway to truly thriving and feeling joyful on a consistent basis. When you love yourself; nourishing your body with loving foods, exercise, good relationships and fun activities comes second nature. What exactly is Mirror Work? The act of standing or sitting in front of a mirror, looking into your own eyes and repeating affirmations of loving-kindness towards yourself. Why Mirror Work? Mirror work helps us to face ourselves openly - witnessing our blocks to loving ourselves, and releasing them through awareness and loving affirmations. It sounds so simple - even trivial! But with a little practice, you’ll be shocked at how quickly you can release old limiting beliefs and truly start to embrace yourself fully. It really works!

Hello love.

For this meditation we'll be practicing mirror work,

A beautiful concept created by Louise Hay that has the power to reconnect you to your sense of worthiness and help you cultivate deep and lasting self-love.

One of the most selfless things we can do is learn to love ourselves.

The truth is we can only give what we ourselves have and by cultivating a deep and loving respect for yourself,

Honoring your uniqueness,

Your goodness,

You allow yourself to reflect that towards everyone you meet,

Offering them the same gifts of respect,

Honor,

And love.

To do this practice find somewhere quiet that you won't be disturbed and stand or kneel in front of a mirror.

Once you've found a mirror,

We'll start the practice by taking a few deep cleansing breaths.

Inhale,

Exhale,

Inhale,

Exhale,

Inhale,

Exhale.

Now as you sit here,

Allow yourself to gaze deeply into your own eyes.

Really look at yourself and as you do this notice any emotions or judgments that come up as you do.

Notice if you feel any tension or discomfort in your body.

See if you can just be aware of all these things without attaching to them.

Just holding an open space,

Allowing all things to be as they are.

And then holding your own gaze,

Speak to yourself out loud if you can or silently.

I love and accept myself as I am.

I love and accept myself as I am.

I love and accept myself as I am.

Noticing the sensations and emotions that come up as you speak this without resisting them.

Just honor where you're at.

Be gentle with yourself on this journey home to your heart.

Take a big inhale,

Holding it at the top and a nice big sigh.

Continuing to gaze into your own beautiful eyes,

Tell yourself I love you.

I really,

Really love you.

You are good.

You are whole.

You are worthy of your dreams.

I love you and I accept you as you are.

Take a nice deep breath,

Exhale with a sigh.

Feel so proud of yourself for doing this.

You should know that it's very common to experience a little bit of discomfort when affirming these kinds of loving statements.

And even if it feels a little hollow right now,

Know that if you continue to practice and have a willingness to learn to love yourself,

You will undoubtedly connect to a deeper level of love,

Understanding,

And respect for yourself.

And right now,

Even if it's just a little bit of kindling and a spark,

If you continue to be gentle and kind towards yourself and have just a little willingness to love yourself more,

It can become a full-blown wildfire.

You're so worthy of love.

And as you open yourself to your own glorious beaming loveliness,

Your ability to give and receive love and act as a conduit for healing and restoration will expand to degrees you never knew possible.

Love begets love.

Sending you so much love and appreciation,

I love you and I accept you exactly as you are.

Namaste.
