Hello and welcome to Purely Being Meditations.
Now is the perfect time to pause,
To breathe,
And to relax.
Today I offer a simple yet powerful mantra for finding a greater sense of peace,
Security,
And union with the divine.
And so to begin,
Find somewhere comfortable and quiet to sit.
Let your spine be long and tall,
Your shoulders relaxed.
Softly close down your eyes.
Take a nice deep cleansing breath in and out with a long slow exhale letting any and all tension simply melt away.
One more just like that,
In and out.
And now just spend a few moments being where you are.
Feeling your sit bones on the floor or the cushion,
Noticing the temperature of the air on your skin.
Feeling any areas of your body that are warmer than others,
Any areas that are cooler.
Feeling the soft and natural rhythm of your breath,
In and out.
Just getting an overall sense of where you're at right now,
How you're feeling,
And letting that be okay.
And now when you're ready,
I'd like you to begin to think of a word that for you represents the divine unity and source of all that is.
If you already have one that's beautiful,
And if not I'll offer you a few ideas and I want you to know that it's not the word itself that's important,
But the feeling that it brings to your heart when you speak it silently you're allowed.
And so you might use a word like source or God,
Perhaps the universe or the creator or maybe even a word like life or love or Gaia.
Each of these words will bring a different feeling in your body and so choose the one that feels the most gentle,
Loving and expansive to you.
Once you've chosen,
Let everything else go and draw the presence of the divine into your heart space,
Feeling a sense of great and expansive love in your heart.
Take a nice easy breath in and exhale.
And now with every inhale,
Using your unique word,
Silently repeat,
I am in the divine and with every exhale say,
And the divine is in me.
Inhale I am in the divine.
Inhale and the divine is in me.
And as you do so really feeling these words and what they mean in your body.
On every inhale feeling yourself held and supported in the presence of divine love that exists like an ocean all around you,
Extending into infinity,
Completely timeless,
Wholly loving and vibrantly alive.
And on every exhale feel that same divine love,
Presence and wisdom actively alive in every cell of your being as the very source and essence of who you are.
Inhale I am in the divine and exhale and the divine is in me.
Continue to silently or aloud repeat and really feel this mantra for the next five minutes.
Let there be no effort or strain in your body or your mind as you simply allow each phrase to wash up on the shore of your being like waves on a beach.
Feeling supported,
Safe,
Held.
I am in God and God is in me.
You'll hear a soft chime when the time is up.
You'll hear a soft chime when the time is up.

Beautiful.
When you're ready,
Release the mantra.
Take a nice deep breath in and out.
Softly open up your eyes.
Coming back to your body.
Back to your space.
And just be here.
Complete.
Whole.
One with all that is.
A perfect extension of divine love.
