Muladhara,
The root chakra,
Is where everything begins.
It is the source,
The root,
From which your well-being grows.
This wheel-like energy centre is the primary chakra.
To balance our chakras,
We must begin here,
As the root chakra is the foundation of the whole chakra energy system.
Begin this restorative and healing practice by finding a relaxing space where you can remain sustained.
Whichever position you are in,
Allow your body to soften and relax.
Let your spine remain long and spacious.
Let your breath be natural and calm.
Begin to relax into your breath.
Now,
In your relaxed state of being,
Settle your awareness in the area between your sitting bones and your tailbone.
This is where your root chakra is located.
A wheel-like vortex that plays an important role in the balance of energy in your body,
Affecting your health,
Your sense of stability and security and even the drive to live.
If you often feel fearful,
Untrusting and anxious about life,
Or feel like you are unable to have your physical or financial needs met,
Or you don't feel safe,
Loved,
If you have any physical,
Bodily issues in this part of the body,
These are the signs that the root chakra may be blocked.
There's a lot more that's connected to this powerful energy centre.
Let's tune into it to see what we can find,
Heal and release today.
If you feel overwhelmed in any way at any point,
Please pause or redirect your awareness back to your breath.
So,
Let's continue by coming back to your breath.
With your beautiful eyes closed,
Watch through your mind's eye,
Draws in to fill your lungs and out to cleanse your being.
Gently bring your awareness to the base of your spine,
In the sacred space of your root chakra.
Let your attention remain there.
To begin this active and healing practice,
Feel yourself connecting to the earth through your root chakra point.
Feel your energy being anchored down to the earth safely,
Securely and firmly.
Breathe in deeply into your root chakra.
Breathe out slowly,
Feeling connected to the earth a little more.
Inhale energy into your root chakra.
Exhale,
Sending energy from your root chakra down to the core of the earth.
Red is the colour of the root chakra.
See and feel the energy to flow and to swirl through your chakra,
Emitting the powerful colour red.
Encourage your root chakra to prepare to soften,
To gently expand.
Invite in more red into your mind's eye.
Breathe this deep red into your root chakra.
Visualise a vortex of red energy rotating in a counter-clockwise direction at the base of your spine.
The vortex of your root chakra is moving counter-clockwise direction to release and to clear.
You can now say this to yourself,
This is a safe place for my root chakra to expand,
For my lower body to feel open.
It is now safe for me to release and to let go.
Breathe into your root chakra.
Begin to release.
Letting go of any fearfulness.
Feeling unsafe or anxious.
Simply inhale and exhale.
Release.
Vortex of the root chakra is still moving counter-clockwise to expel and to remove what is of no use.
Breathe the colour red into your root chakra.
Feeling any feelings of depression.
Lack of motivation.
Cynicism.
All instability.
See it being released from your base,
Your root chakra as it spins counter-clockwise.
Feel your body letting go of any living in survival mode energy and any negativity.
Breathing in.
Letting the red colour intensify.
Breathing out slowly.
Release any energetic or mental blockages.
Any energy of erratic behaviour.
Breathing in deeply to intensify the red colour.
Breathing out spinning counter-clockwise.
Gently and effectively visualise limiting beliefs and behaviours leaving.
Being flushed out from your root chakra.
From your body.
Breathing in deeply to let more red light energy flow through your root chakra.
Empowering this cleansing process.
Feel the warming red light expand out wider.
Red warmth seeping into your tailbone.
See it glowing brighter.
Feel it warming your lower back.
Your hips.
Disolving any tension of survival.
Any fears of things being not enough.
Not lasting long enough.
Like a river flowing out.
Expelling any emotional swings.
Anger.
Guilt or shame.
Flesh it out.
See it and feel it leaving your body.
Leaving your root chakra.
If you do feel emotional in this moment,
It's okay to feel your emotions.
Validate your emotions.
Now let it go through and out of your root chakra.
Through and out from your hip area.
Feel yourself becoming free.
Free of the stagnation through the glowing warm deep red light.
Now find stillness.
See the energy chakra wheel to pause.
And simply feel the clear space and deep stillness of the root chakra.
Now you will hear a healing sound.
Sound that restores,
Invigorates and strengthens specifically the root chakra.
Hear the sound ring and feel it heal your root chakra.
Now let it go through and out of your root chakra.
Feel yourself becoming free.
Feel yourself.
See and feel the red root chakra vortex to begin to rotate this time clockwise direction.
Spiralling and spinning.
A swirling red,
Wheel-like energy moves in a clockwise direction to collect,
To receive anything and everything that is indeed intended for your highest good.
Breathe in,
Together.
Breathe out slowly to balance and harmonize the energy in your root chakra.
You can say to yourself,
This process is for you.
It is safe to feel expansive and open.
I am ready to accept.
I am ready to feel expansive.
Use your root chakra to spin clockwise and draw in feelings of security and safety.
Feel yourself to become more connected to the ground,
To the earth.
Use the deep red energy to spin clockwise a little faster,
Collecting and pulling in a connection to yourself,
Your ability and strength to care for yourself.
Breathe in the colour red into your root chakra.
Breathe out and relax into its welcoming warmth.
Visualize your root chakra energy to be clear and healthy.
Feel it to continue to source all that you need,
As well as focus and presence.
Visualize and feel it bring you energy,
Strengthening your immune system.
Feeling of the whole lower part of your body.
Visualize the energy of your root chakra expanding in a mesmerizing way.
Continuing to collect strength,
Trust,
Self-confidence,
And confidence.
Self-esteem and integrity.
Feeling so safe in the vortex of the stabilizing energy of the root chakra.
The red glow from the chakra is shining bright,
Upward,
Grounding and stabilizing the rest of your chakra system.
The mantra of the root chakra is LAM L-A-S-I.
This is the primordial vibration of the root chakra.
You may simply tune into the vibrations of this chant or choose to join in.
Direct the vibrations of the sounds to your root chakra as you hear or chant with me.
LAM LAM LAM LAM LAM LAM Feeling centered and relaxed.
Let the following resonate with you as you repeat it silently or out loud.
I am safe.
I am protected.
I am loved.
I am whole.
I am complete,
Just as I am.
I am worthy of receiving all that I need.
I belong here on Earth.
I have the support that I need.
I trust the Universe.
I trust the Universe to take me as a part of her.
I let go of my fears,
Doubts and limiting beliefs.
I surrender in the knowing that my needs will always be met.
I have enough.
I am enough.
I love myself.
What I need will always find its way to me.

Thank you for the nutritious food I get to eat.
