Hello and welcome to your next phase of awakening.

This is the transformation you have been waiting for.

Tonight,

The new moon extends a secret invitation for you to awaken to the magnificent truth of who you truly are.

What happens next,

You decide.

Close your beautiful eyes.

Slowly take a deep breath in and exhale through your mouth.

Sense the surface beneath you,

Supporting your body.

Notice the temperature of the air.

And the way your clothes rest against your shoulders and the torso.

Slowly intend to release your grip on the day,

The outside,

Other people.

And feel your hands and fingers also releasing their grip.

Pull back your attention into you.

And at the same time,

Feel the little muscles around your eyes and brows soften and smooth over.

Allow yourself to be fully here.

No need to worry if thoughts still emerge.

Don't mind them.

Just come back here.

Here with your breath and the plentiful sensations of this moment.

You are doing the most important thing.

You are here,

Waking up to your next phase.

We can easily distract ourselves from a beautiful truth.

When we want to remember,

All you must do is take a look inside.

Come,

Take this look now.

Take a slow,

Deep,

Intentional breath in.

And exhale fully,

All the way out.

Pause briefly here,

Empty.

Sense this emptiness as the stillness that has always been quietly beneath everything.

Let yourself resume your natural breath.

Notice the gentle movement of your chest.

How your breath softens your whole interior.

Invite your attention to the space behind your eyes.

See a quiet,

Dark sky stretching there.

Your awareness is like a moonless night.

Notice that this stillness is always here in the background.

Sense the open vastness of it.

Remain in this still vastness and without effort.

Notice the one who hears these words.

Notice the one who feels the body breathing.

No need to describe it,

Let awareness rest on itself for a moment.

Now,

Allow a scene to form within this same vastness.

As if awareness is opening into a nighttime landscape.

Without leaving stillness,

Feel soft ground come up from beneath your toes.

Notice yourself standing among grass-filled plains beneath a darkened sky.

See the grass field glowing with silver-blue light,

Holding years of stored moonlight.

Above you,

See the new moon hang low and large.

Invisible,

Yet powerfully present.

Its dark disc seems to hold endless possibilities within its hidden face.

Take a few steps forward.

As you walk through this field,

Feel the silken grass brush against your ankles.

It's cool and soothing,

Like the gentle touch of mint leaves.

And with every step,

Feel the softness of velvet earth sink beneath your soles.

Feel the night air cool your cheeks.

Take a slow breath in and notice the scent of night-blooming flowers mingling with the freshness of midnight dew.

Exhale gently.

Let the wonderful fragrance drift through you.

Feel a subtle current within it,

As if it wants to guide you the way.

Ahead,

See a shimmering,

Shallow pool come into view.

It gleams silver in the darkness.

With each step closer,

Notice the ground changing under your feet,

Soft earth giving way,

Little by little,

To smooth stones.

Take a deep breath.

It is time to conduct the new moon ritual.

Everything you need for transformation exists here in this timeless moment,

Between what was and what will be.

Now,

Really absorb the beauty of your surroundings.

You are aware of this beautiful scene,

Aware of the moonlit grass,

The shimmering water,

And the large,

Dark disc above.

You are also aware of your bodily sensations,

Your thoughts.

And who is this one who is aware?

Who is this awareness?

Be with this.

Be purely,

Thoroughly aware.

Take it all in,

And let all the objects within your awareness pass as they do.

Your awareness needs nothing,

Lacks nothing,

Judges nothing.

It simply is.

You are the space in which all experience unfolds,

Constant through all different phases of awakening.

Be yourself now,

Pure awareness.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Exhale.

From this place of pure awareness,

All choices become clear,

All possibilities remain open.

Feel the snowing settle into your skin,

Like moonlight soaking into soft earth.

And,

As you now step forward,

Carry this awareness with you into conscious creation.

Moon child,

Look into the water.

Notice the reflection shimmers with transitioning moon phases.

See yourself kneel at the edge of this sacred pool,

And bring your hands to pause just above the surface.

Sense the cool presence rising from it.

And,

When ready,

Dip your fingers into the water.

Feel its temperature.

Let the sensation ripple up your arms.

This is the cleansing part of the ritual.

As you swirl your fingers through the pool,

Imagine that the water is cleansing residue from past cycles.

Feel any tiredness dissolve down your arms and out your fingertips.

No need to force,

Simply allow it to dissolve.

Now,

Cup a little bit of water in your hands and bring it toward your face.

Let a few drops touch your forehead,

Your throat,

Your heart.

As you do,

Breathe in softly.

Sense a subtle clearing in each place the water touches.

Softly breathe out.

Pause and notice how your body feels.

Ask yourself quietly,

What wishes to begin now?

What am I ready to live into?

What happens next?

Pause here.

Don't try to answer with words.

Let a simple picture or a quiet knowing arise in its own time.

Gently hold whatever comes up like a seed in your palm.

If this resonates,

Place one hand on your heart and one on your belly.

Feel your entire being saying yes to the next phase of your becoming.

Feel your very selves rearranging themselves in alignment with your intention.

Sense your spine subtly lengthen and become more spacious.

Breathe in,

See that seed glow faintly with the same silver-blue light of the field.

Exhale,

Let the glow sink deep into your chest and plant low in your belly.

Another breath.

Feel your body receive this new phase.

It is already inside you.

Begin to feel the energy of the field absorb up into the bottom of your feet.

On your next inhale,

Draw your breath up through your soles and visualize the silver-blue glow rise through your legs.

Sense it tingling like the touch of fresh mint.

Traveling upward,

Slowly,

Until it reaches the base of your spine.

Here,

At your tailbone,

Visualize and feel a small crescent of silver light there.

A sliver of moon.

Feel it carve down and in along the base gently.

Breathe that faint crescent into steadiness.

With your inhale,

Notice the subtle glow growing brighter.

With your exhale,

Feel your body soften around it.

Allow this crescent moon phase to become steady at the root of you.

Bring your attention a little higher to the lower middle part of your back.

Here,

A half-moon of cool brightness appears.

Visualize its arching curve spread across your back from left to right,

Like a sun on the horizon.

Breathe into it slowly.

Notice how the half-moon light is flooding into your midsection.

Now move your awareness higher still,

Near your heart and upper back.

Here,

Sense a nearly full moon.

See it shine gently with even radiance inside your chest.

Feel it in the front,

Behind,

And all around your heart.

Breathe into it.

Feel its light spread out through your shoulders and arms.

Stay here for a few breaths,

Feeling your heart rest inside this soft moonlight.

Now guide your attention to the crown of your head.

Here,

Feel a soft,

Complete moon of awareness reveal itself now.

No effort needed.

It is simply present when you look.

Round and whole.

Let your inhale meet it at the top.

Let your exhale expand it outward,

In all directions.

Be aware of the fullness at your crown.

And the stillness that surrounds it.

The vast night sky.

Feel the entire length of your spine as a living cycle of transitioning moon phases.

Crescent.

Half.

Nearly full.

Complete.

No phase is less than the other.

Not separate,

But one flow.

One current of light moving through you.

It is all part of one beautiful journey.

Feel the weight of your feet,

Resting securely on the earth below.

And,

At the same time,

Feel the cool light shining through your spine.

Up through your crown above.

Stay with this for a few slow breaths,

Feeling the cycle within.

Notice the way it feels to inhabit this next phase fully.

If you would like,

Now is the time to offer something back to the water.

Picture placing any old worries,

Patterns or a gesture of gratitude into the pool.

Watch the ripples carry it away,

Until the surface becomes still once more.

Notice the quiet in your body,

Matching the quiet of the water.

Now,

Look up.

In the sky above,

See a thin crescent of silver.

Its light is carved with sleek,

Elegant certainty.

Sense that same certainty in you.

This is the phase of your next awakening.

You decide what happens.

You are choosing it now.

By being here.

By feeling this.

Once more,

Inhale.

Draw the image of the crescent moon down into your body.

Exhale and let it anchor at the base of your spine.

Again,

Inhale.

See the moonlight flow up to your heart.

Exhale.

Feel it expand out through your chest.

Once more,

Inhale.

Feel the moonlight reach the crown of your head.

Pause.

Exhale gently.

And let the light radiate outward in all directions.

Stay with this sensation.

Feel a cool,

Clear presence invigorate you.

Your breath moves easily.

Feel your body and mind cleansed and ready.

Now,

Slowly turn away from the pool of water.

Walk back across the glowing grass with lighter steps.

At the edge of the field,

Pause once more.

Take a full breath in.

Exhale slowly.

Sense the earth underneath your feet.

Sense the sky above you.

You are both earth and sky,

Stillness and movement,

Old and new.

Let the scene gently fade as your awareness returns to where your body is being supported.

Feel the temperature of the air on your skin.

Hear the sounds in the space around you.

Place a hand over your heart.

Feel its rhythm.

Silently acknowledge,

I am here and I decide what happens next.

Stay a moment longer in this awareness.

And when you feel ready,

Open your beautiful eyes.

Your new moon ritual is complete.
