Welcome.
I am so glad you are here.
Tonight we are going to do something simple and something powerful.
We are going to release whatever resistance you have been carrying.
Perhaps around money.
Around love.
A round opportunity.
Around anything at all.
And open space for the future.
That's actually waiting for you.
Not the one you have quietly talked yourself into settling for.
The one that is still becoming.
Tonight is about surrender.
Not giving up.
But settling down.
What was never yours to carry alone.
And trusting God to hold the rest.
You don't need to know exactly what your most wonderful future looks like yet.
Maybe it's in your work.
Or in love.
Or simply in how at home you feel in your own life.
You don't need the full picture tonight.
You only need to be willing to release what's been standing in front of it.
The more often you come back to this practice,
The more naturally this release will happen.
And the clearer your future will start to feel.
Find a position that feels good to you tonight.
Whether seated or laying down.
When you are ready.
Breathe in deeply.
And as you exhale,
Let your eyelids fall closed.
Feel your body settle into stillness.
Bring your attention to your breath.
Notice it moving in.
Notice it moving out.
Let the next breath travel a little further.
Than the last one did.
Filling a little more of your chest,
Your ribs,
The space just beneath your navel.
Feel your shoulders drop just slightly away from your ears.
Let your jaw loosen.
Your tongue rests heavy at the bottom of your mouth.
Let your forehead smooth out.
The small muscles around your eyes releasing.
Let your hands soften wherever they are resting.
Palms open.
Fingers loose and unclenched.
Feel your spine lengthen slightly against whatever is supporting you.
And let your legs grow heavy.
Right down through your knees.
Your angles.
Your feet.
Think of everything you held onto today.
The small decisions.
The things left unsent.
The moments you had to keep it together.
When you didn't feel like it.
None of it needs to come with you into this.
You can leave it right here.
And pick it back up tomorrow,
Only if it's actually still worth carrying.
This is the kind of tired that doesn't come from doing too much but from holding on too tightly.
And your body has been waiting all day for you to loosen that grip.
Let it.
With every exhale.
Feel something release down through your arms.
Out past your hands.
Down through your legs.
And out through the bottoms of your feet.
Until you are no longer holding yourself up.
And the ground beneath you.
Is doing that work instead.
Picture yourself standing at the base of a mountain.
And above you.
The sky is deep violet.
Scattered with stars.
More of them than you would ever see from home.
The air is cool and still against your skin.
Carrying the faint scent of rain that has passed.
Beneath your feet,
The ground is packed earth,
Solid and steady.
And somewhere in the distance,
You can hear the quiet trickle of water moving over rocks.
At the very top of this mountain stands a single,
Ancient oak tree.
Its trunk white and silver-gray in the moonlight.
Its branches stretching out further than seems possible.
Even from here you can see its roots glowing faintly beneath the soil.
Threading down through the rocks.
Like rivers of life.
And see how resting just above the tree.
Over its highest branches.
Is a vast hand made of golden light.
The hand of the Divine.
It rests there,
The way a parent's hand rests gently on a child's head.
Watching over this tree.
Blessing it,
Keeping it safe through the night.
Take a real moment to see this.
The size of that hand against the sky.
The warmth of the light it gives off.
The stillness of the tree beneath it.
Before you move any closer.
Take a moment to set an intention.
Silently or out loud if that feels right.
Offer up whatever you are ready to release tonight.
A fear,
A doubt,
A place you have been gripping too tightly.
Just let the right words for you tonight reach you.
The moment you let it go.
Watch the hand above the tree begin to move.
It reaches down towards you now.
Vast and golden.
And scoops you up gently,
The way you would lift a child you loved completely.
Feel your feet leave the ground as you surrender into that hand.
All loving.
All-protecting.
All-providing.
And let it carry you upward.
The night air moves softly across your skin as you rise.
And everything from the day below.
Simply falls away beneath you.
The rushing,
The second guessing,
The small anxious loop your mind kept running.
All of it growing smaller and smaller.
Then gone.
You float higher and higher.
The valley falling away beneath you.
The oak tree growing closer with every breath.
Until the hand sets you down gently at the very top of the mountain.
Right at the foot of the tree.
Your feet finding solid ground once more.
There,
At its base,
You find a narrow opening.
Where two thick roots are just enough for you to step through.
Go inside.
You are standing now in a wide,
Quiet cave.
Deep in the heart of the mountain.
The walls are alive with the same silver-white light you saw glowing beneath the soil outside.
It's the tree's root system,
Spreading in every direction across the stone.
Each root moving and pulsing gently.
Like a river of moonlight.
Running through a rock.
This cave is a living map of your life.
Each root belongs to a different part of you.
One is your relationships.
One is your career.
One is your wealth.
One is your physical health.
One is your emotional world.
And somewhere among them is one more.
Quieter than the rest.
One you might not have a name for yet.
But you will know it.
The moment you feel it.
Look closer and you will notice something.
Some of these roots run bright and wide.
The light moving through them freely.
Others are narrower,
Tighter,
Maybe even blocked in places.
The way a garden hose kinks and stops the water from ever reaching where it's meant to go.
You don't need to examine every root tonight.
That was never the plan.
You don't need to fix your whole life in the next half hour.
Just let your attention drift,
Slow and gentle.
The way it does right before sleep.
And let one root pull at you on its own.
Not the one you think you should choose.
Not the one that seems most impressive or most urgent.
The one that actually calls to you.
Let's say for a moment,
It's this one.
A root running low along the cave wall.
It's light dim and flickering,
Pulled tight in one place,
Like a fist that's been closed for a very long time.
Maybe it's an old fear about money.
Maybe it's an ache around love that never fully healed.
Maybe it's a door toward opportunity you have been too afraid to walk through.
Now reach out and place your hand directly on it.
At first.
It feels stiff beneath your palms.
Maybe even resistant.
The way anything held for too long feels stiff when it's finally touched.
Feel yourself touch the root gently.
Staying with it.
Breathing.
Your hand resting exactly on the place that needs you the most.
And slowly feel it begin to soften.
The tightness eases.
One small release at a time.
Visualize light that has been trapped starts moving again.
Flowing up through the roof.
Brighter now.
Faster now.
Like water finally allowed to run after being held back for far too long.
Look up.
At the very same moment.
High above you,
Outside this cave.
The hand of light,
Resting over the tree,
Grows brighter too.
Responding instantly to what you just did here in the dark.
What you healed below,
God felt above.
Nothing you do here happens unseen.
And nothing you release here goes to waste.
This is what it means to be helmed.
Now it's your turn.
Turn and look at the roots surrounding you.
Let your eyes move slowly across them.
And notice which one you keep coming back to again and again without trying.
That's the one.
Walk to it.
And simply reach to where it runs along the wall.
Reach for whichever route is calling to you tonight.
Not the one I described,
But yours.
The one only you would recognize.
Rest your hand there.
Palm flat.
Fingersprint.
There's nothing to force and nothing to get right.
Just stay and breathe.
And let it soften in its own time.
Exactly the way we just practiced together.
With every exhale.
Feel your hand grow a little warmer.
Against the light beneath it.
I am going to stay quiet now for the next few moments.
So you can do this fully,
In your own way and at your own pace.
Take all the time you need.
Whenever you are ready,
Gently bring your awareness back to the cave around you.
Notice the roots continuing to glow.
Brighter now than when you first arrived.
Whatever you touch tonight is still healing.
Even now.
Even as we speak.
Long after your hand has moved away.
Make your way back through the opening in the roots.
Back outside,
Beneath the stars.
The oak stands exactly as it did.
But its branches seem fuller now.
It's light,
Steadier.
More sure of itself.
Above it.
The hand of light is still there.
It never once moved.
It was never going anywhere.
Feel the same hand of the divine lift you once more.
Gently cradling you as you drift back down the way you came.
The mountain rising around you as you descend.
The night air is still cool against your skin.
The stars still scattered overhead.
But something in you has settled.
That wasn't settled before.
The hand sets you down softly at the base of the mountain.
Exactly where you started.
Before rising back to its place above the tree.
Carrying tonight's healing with you.
Woven into you now.
You didn't have to heal everything tonight.
And you don't need to.
That was never the point.
This mountain.
This tree.
This cave.
They will be here whenever you need them again.
If something new arises next week,
Next month,
A year from now.
You can always return to this exact place and tend to whatever route is asking for you then.
This isn't something you do once.
It's somewhere you can come back to,
Again and again,
For as long as you need it.
If you are ready to come back fully,
Take a deep breath in.
Wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Stretch if you would like.
And gently let your beautiful eyes open.
Or if you would rather stay just where you are.
Let yourself sink even deeper,
Releasing into sleep.
Trusting that everything you tended to tonight keeps growing,
Keeps healing,
Held safely the entire time.
Whether you are awake to witness it or not.
This was Rasa.
Thank you so much for meditating with me tonight.
Wherever you go from here,
Carry this with you.
You are worthy of the love,
The money,
The opportunity and the wonderful future you came here tonight to receive.
Not because you have earned it.
But because you were always enough to hold it.
And the mountain,
The tree and the hand of light above it will be here,
Waiting,
Exactly like this,
The next time you need to come home to yourself.
Namaste
