Welcome.

My name is Andrea Ashley and I'm super grateful to have you here with me right now.

We're going to start by coming into a comfortable seated or laying down position,

Whichever you prefer.

Just take a few moments to settle in to ensure you are comfy cozy and that all distractions have been moved or turned off.

Make any last minute adjustments to the physical body so you're in a position that you can maintain for the next 15 or 20 minutes.

Begin to let go of your day.

Let go of your to-do list.

Let go of anything you did before you entered this space and let go of all the things that you may need to do afterward.

Let it all go for now.

Let it all go.

Begin now to bring your awareness to your breath.

Not making any changes to it as of yet,

Just simply observing the inhales and exhales.

Watching as you breathe in and as you breathe out.

Using the awareness of your breath to anchor you in this present moment.

Letting your awareness of everything else just fade as you focus on breathing in and breathing out.

At any time during this meditation you feel that you have drifted off or become distracted.

You can bring yourself back into this moment by focusing again on my voice or on your breath.

Continue to focus on your breath.

Inhaling and exhaling naturally.

Today we are going to focus on our solar plexus chakra.

Most common Sanskrit name for the solar plexus chakra is manipura which means lustrous gem.

Manipura refers to the third of the seven primary chakras and is located in the abdomen,

The space above the belly button and below the heart and is associated with the beautiful bright sunny colored yellow.

The manipura is the chakra of personal power relating to our ego,

Self-esteem,

Willpower,

Stamina,

Self-belief and inner power.

If your solar plexus is blocked you may experience difficulty making decisions.

You may have low self-esteem,

Control or anger issues and it can manifest physically as feeling lethargic,

Having a sluggish digestion and may show up as actions such as depressive behavior,

Being passive or binge eating.

When it's in balance the solar plexus can provide determination and willpower,

Confidence,

Energy and decisiveness.

Bring your awareness back into your breath as we now begin to integrate our intentional slow deep breathing.

Inhale letting the belly rise,

The ribs expand,

The chest lift and exhale let the chest fall first,

The ribs contract and lastly the belly releases.

Inhale,

Inhale,

Exhale.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Now bring your attention to your solar plexus,

Your Manipura chakra,

Envisioning a yellow light in the center of your abdomen.

Observe how it looks.

Notice the shade of yellow,

The size,

The shape.

Notice any and all visual aspects of your Manipura chakra.

Bringing your attention now to how it feels.

Are there any physical sensations in this area?

Notice any and all sensations in the solar plexus chakra.

Now notice how it is functioning.

Is it moving?

If so,

In which direction?

Is it slow or fast?

Is it a large open light or a small dim light?

Observe what is coming up for you in this chakra.

Bring your attention back to your breath.

Breathing in.

Breathing out.

Breathing in beautiful yellow light into your heart chakra space.

Breathing out.

Breathing in.

Breathing out.

Breathing in.

Breathing out.

With every inhale,

Try to visualize breathing in yellow light into your solar plexus chakra.

Watching as the bright sunny glow starts to expand.

Breathing in.

Breathing out.

Breathing in beautiful yellow light.

Breathing out.

Attention.

Continuing to breathe at your own pace.

With every in breath,

Visualize pulling in more fresh beautiful yellow light.

Allowing it to fill your manipura chakra.

And spread outwards.

Breathing in yellow light.

Breathing out.

Attention.

Breathing in strength,

Self worth and power.

Breathing out.

Attention.

Every inhale visualize pulling in more fresh yellow light.

Allowing it to fill your manipura chakra.

And spread out,

Making this light larger and larger with every next breath.

Breathing in beautiful yellow light.

Breathing out anger.

Breathing in determination.

Breathing out self doubt.

Breathing in energy.

Breathing out lethargy.

Breathing in self worth.

Breathing out insecurity.

Breathing in beautiful sunny yellow light.

Breathing out.

Continue to breathe slowly and deeply and repeat after me.

I am empowered.

I am strong.

I am powerful.

I am courageous.

I am confident.

I stand up for myself.

I make my own decisions with confidence.

I give myself permission to be myself,

My true self.

I am worthy of success.

I am worthy of happiness.

I use my power for good.

I am worthy of love.

I am motivated.

I am authentic.

I appreciate and acknowledge my strengths.

I take responsibility for my actions,

Thoughts,

Emotions,

Words,

And choices.
