Welcome to a meditation on opening your heart and letting it bloom.

Settle into your seat and get comfortable.

Rest and attentive.

Take a deep breath in and then slowly release it out.

And another deep breath in,

Letting it flow out.

Settling back into your natural rhythm of breath.

Settling back into your body.

Bringing your connection to the earth below you.

Breathing in.

Feeling each point of contact between your body and the ground.

Noticing any sensations that may be present there.

Breathing in.

Breathing out.

Breathing down into the earth with each breath.

Each in breath a deepening.

Each out breath a release.

An opening.

Feel the earth's energy moving up into your body.

Moving into your feet.

Moving up into your legs.

Into your sits bones.

Flowing up into your belly.

Flowing up into your spine.

Getting out to your body with each breath.

Feel the earth's energy moving into your chest.

Notice what sensations,

If any,

Are present in your heart space right now.

Letting whatever is present just be.

Opening your heart space to what is.

Like a flower bud unfolding in the sun or rain.

Each in breath an opening.

Each out breath a rooting deeper into the earth.

Letting thoughts that may arise.

Move through like a gentle breeze.

Content to just be breathing.

Content to watch and feel the rise and fall of your chest.

Content to watch and feel the movement of your belly in and out.

Rooted.

Connected.

Open.

Breathing.

Breathing.

Breathing.

Breathing gently with these phrases.

May I find strength in my roots.

May I receive nourishment from the earth.

May I find support in my garden network.

May I embrace the sun or rain of each day.

May I find strength in my roots.
