Hi dear ones,
In today's meditation we will be connecting with the perspective of divinity existing everywhere at all times.
Big I know.
With this awareness,
We can approach all beings with equanimity as well as with increased compassion,
Safe in the knowledge that we are all one,
We are all divine.
We will be utilizing three methods as well as perspectives that you can return to at any moment during your day-to-day life.
The more you practice these methods through meditation,
The more these tools become the forefront of all of your thoughts.
Let us begin.
Allow yourself to settle comfortably into stillness.
Make any adjustments you need.
Feel the spine long and relaxed,
Tension easing from the jaw.
Connect to the breath as a tool to pull you deeper into presence.
Notice the feeling of the body expanding with the breath on the inhale.
Invite the body to relax and ease tension with the exhale.
Continue breathing in deep.
Exhaling long.
Slowly on the next inhale repeat,
I am here.
And repeating with the exhale,
The divine is here.
Continue for a handful of breaths,
Repeating these affirmations.
Continue being present on the inside,
Allowing the mind to also be present on the external sounds,
Blending inner and outer.
You may hear the soft hum of an air conditioner,
Maybe street noises outside,
Your family or roommate in the other room.
Noticing the sounds,
Allow your awareness to label each sound with divinity.
Oh,
There is God.
Oh,
That too is divinity,
Mind may say.
Keep labeling any and all sounds,
Even if you hear a construction site next door.
Label any of those sounds as the divine.
If you find your mind slipping away,
Return to the breath,
Return to the mantra,
I am here.
God is here.
You might even start to label the sounds of home.
Hearing each little sound filter all the way back to the start of creation.
Oh.
If you find your mind slipping away,
Return to the breath,
Return to the mantra,
I am here.
God is you.
Yatra yatra mana yati bahyeya bahantare piva tatra tatra param tatvam vaipakam vyayam drishtiyat.
Wherever the mind goes,
Whether outward or inward,
There too is the essence of the Supreme.
Allow your awareness to return within the body and slowly start to direct your awareness towards your mind.
Allow the mind to roam freely.
Let it think.
Let it dream.
Let it wander.
Don't resist it.
Let it imagine sunsets,
Memories,
Mountains,
Worries,
Pleasures,
And dreams.
Slowly allow your awareness to meet the mind.
Wherever the mind goes,
Allow the awareness to say,
Here too is the divine.
Here is God.
There is God.
All is God.
Continue allowing the mind to explore deeper into feelings,
Longings,
Sensations.
Continue repeating the divine is here,
The divine is always present.
The mind cannot escape divinity because divinity is all there is,
Like oxygen connecting all of us.
Even distraction is made of God.
Even thought is made of Shakti.
Slowly begin to expand your awareness beyond your body.
The minds in her eye visualize friends,
Family,
Labeling everyone you see as God,
Co-workers,
The mailman or woman,
Your neighbors,
The cashier at your grocery,
Everyone as divine.
Move beyond emotion or vengeance,
Seeing even the people who may have hurt you as God.
Slowly move beyond people.
Notice your pets as God,
The birds outside,
The bees and the flowers.
The trees dancing in the wind.
The puddle of dirt.
Every blade of grass.
Keep labeling as God.
All beings everywhere.
All God.
All Shiva.
All Shakti.
All love.
Feel this truth settling deep into your heart.
All that you meet,
Within you and without you,
Is made of the same divinity.
Whenever you feel ready,
Let your eyes open slowly.
Carrying with you the spacious awareness you've cultivated.
As you move through the rest of your day,
Let this practice live within you.
Each sound,
Each thought,
Each face,
Each moment,
All divine,
Always here,
Always present,
Always loved.
