Transcript

Allow the body to either sit or lie down comfortably.

Gently place both hands over the heart,

Closing the eyes.

Nestle into your comfortable position and notice the feeling of your own touch.

Feel your spine nice and long,

With your body relaxed.

Begin by taking several deep breaths,

Allowing the body to soften with every exhale.

With each inhale,

Visualize yourself drawing in warmth and nourishment.

With every exhale,

Continue releasing any stress or tension you may be holding.

Direct your awareness to your belly and begin breathing in and out of the belly.

Inhaling the belly rises,

Exhaling the belly falls.

Inhaling the belly expands,

Exhaling the belly relaxes.

Inhaling,

Take one more belly breath,

Exhaling the belly softens.

Allow your awareness to move up to your chest and begin breathing in and out of the chest.

Feeling the chest expand on the inhale,

And fall on the exhale.

Inhale,

Feel the chest expanding with openness.

Exhale,

Feel closer to your heart.

One more,

Inhale,

The heart space expands.

Exhale,

Coming closer into contact with yourself.

Allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm,

And let the rhythm guide you deeper into stillness.

Allow your awareness to rest in your heart center,

And feel the presence of your hands over your chest.

Notice the gentle rise and fall of your chest as your breath expands through the heart space.

With the inhale,

Feel the breath moving the heart.

With the exhale,

Feel the breath bringing peace to the heart.

Now allow your awareness to settle into the pulsation of your heart.

Each pulse carries the energy that sustains your existence,

As well as the essence of creation.

As your awareness continues to center in on the pulse,

Feel the power of the heart resonating throughout your whole being.

Imagine this pulsation expanding beyond you,

Connecting you to all living beings,

All forms of life.

Your heartbeat is both individual and universal,

Dancing the same rhythm through all beings.

Allow this pulse to remind you of your interconnectedness with all of life.

Rest in your heart space.

Allow the steady rhythm to bring you deeper into your own essence,

Into the space where peace,

Creation,

And all of life reside.

Allow your heart space to guide you.

Allow your heart space to hold you.
