In today's take two,
We'll be taking two minutes to listen.
So begin to bring yourself into a comfortable position where you can feel awake and at ease,
Seated,
Laying down or standing,
Eyes open or closed.
And now,
Just listen,
Not searching for sounds,
Just aware of sounds as they come in and maybe as they go out.
You may be in a room where there's a constant sound.
Maybe you're in a space where sounds are coming and sounds are going.
Just this moment by moment awareness of listening in the mind,
It might wander.
This is what it does.
So we simply return to what we hear,
Sounds close by,
Sounds in the distance,
Sounds that are pleasant or unpleasant.
Just simply listening.
And now,
If you would feel and hear the sound of your next breath in and next breath out.
And if your eyes have been closed,
Let them gently open.
