I give thanks a lot to God, but the asking for what I want is actually new for me. I wasn’t really taught in the way I have been learning about who we are and why we are here on Earth as I have come to learn in the past 2 years. At 40 I feel so new to praying in a way of gratitude and love. I felt my relationship with God as a kid was on autopilot saying the same uninspired prayer night after night. It was a good prayer but it lacked creativity and the feeling behind it. I think I took that mentality into adulthood. I no longer pray the set prayer taught to me, now. But it’s taking a while learning how to phrase things and the content that I’m praying about doesn’t always feel necessary. Sometimes I think it’s filler just to keep talking. I heard you have to speak for at least 5 min for the prayer to penetrate through to Gods ears. It sounds silly but a whole new world has opened up to me lately that I’m not sure what’s considered silly anymore. It all sounds unreal from what my reality has been my whole life. I’ve listened to people like Florence Scovel Shein? I think her name is. I stumble across interesting thought processes on YouTube and I’m feeling very guided on there as to what my ears and mind need to hear. I’m feeling nieve in a way also. I just live truthfully now so I try not to rule out everything I hear immediately. My husband says I have to use more discernment, not everything is something- told to him by Ram Dass. But aren’t we all God in some form or another? Would I ever steer me wrong then? I just want to live free of judgment I guess. Who are we to judge God whose just being God! Ram Dass also said we are all God in drag. Lol So don’t trust us but trust us? Lol I’m so confused. But I’m happy to be in this stage of awakening. Thanks for always responding back to me!
