There's this growing interest in spirituality,

Which is wonderful,

But my feeling is it's really important that we understand the mechanics of it,

Of how to live this way,

Because if we don't,

My concern is that people could just end up being disillusioned and think that,

No,

God doesn't really exist and it's not possible to live in truth,

But it is.

It just takes some understanding of the process.

Okay,

One of the most basic things is because we live in this duality of light and dark,

Daytime and nighttime,

Cold and hot,

What will happen is we might have a spiritual breakthrough and come into a great feeling of connection,

Of oneness and of joy.

And,

You know,

Maybe three months later we're feeling kind of down,

You know,

It's like where did all that go?

I was so sure that God existed.

Where's that gone?

Well,

What's happened is the ego is trying to reassert the status quo.

It's trying to stop you from really waking up.

Now,

The ego is just trying to survive.

It's just trying to do its best and it actually thinks it's helping you.

The ego thinks that,

You know,

Having a spiritual breakthrough into divine love is dangerous because just due to your younger years and and what you were used to maybe in your family,

But now as an adult it's to find out that you can make this shift into this bigger understanding and live in truth and it is safe.

So you can just observe your ego trying to reassert,

Control and you side with your experience and you side with what your heart deeply knows.

And even if,

You know,

Maybe there are very few or even no people around you who can validate your experience,

You can.

You can.

Because you know what you know.

It's like with my son who had a miracle healing from leukemia,

I got the feeling he was going to have this miracle healing and he did and it didn't matter what people said said to me,

You know,

When they said,

Oh don't be a flake or you know,

You're just in denial.

It's like,

No,

He's gonna,

He's gonna live and he did.

I was right.

My heart was right.

What we deeply know is really true.

So stay true to that and when darkness comes just,

You know,

Do whatever you can do to comfort yourself.

You know,

Talking to wise people if they're really wise,

That might help.

You know,

Reading uplifting books,

Reading about people who got through tough times,

Whatever,

You know,

Pray,

Pray.

It's really important.

Pray.

Keep the dialogue going.

Ask for help inside and outside.

Yeah,

Many blessings and it will get easier and easier the more practice you have.

Thanks for listening.

I give thanks a lot to God, but the asking for what I want is actually new for me. I wasn’t really taught in the way I have been learning about who we are and why we are here on Earth as I have come to learn in the past 2 years. At 40 I feel so new to praying in a way of gratitude and love. I felt my relationship with God as a kid was on autopilot saying the same uninspired prayer night after night. It was a good prayer but it lacked creativity and the feeling behind it. I think I took that mentality into adulthood. I no longer pray the set prayer taught to me, now. But it’s taking a while learning how to phrase things and the content that I’m praying about doesn’t always feel necessary. Sometimes I think it’s filler just to keep talking. I heard you have to speak for at least 5 min for the prayer to penetrate through to Gods ears. It sounds silly but a whole new world has opened up to me lately that I’m not sure what’s considered silly anymore. It all sounds unreal from what my reality has been my whole life. I’ve listened to people like Florence Scovel Shein? I think her name is. I stumble across interesting thought processes on YouTube and I’m feeling very guided on there as to what my ears and mind need to hear. I’m feeling nieve in a way also. I just live truthfully now so I try not to rule out everything I hear immediately. My husband says I have to use more discernment, not everything is something- told to him by Ram Dass. But aren’t we all God in some form or another? Would I ever steer me wrong then? I just want to live free of judgment I guess. Who are we to judge God whose just being God! Ram Dass also said we are all God in drag. Lol So don’t trust us but trust us? Lol I’m so confused. But I’m happy to be in this stage of awakening. Thanks for always responding back to me! I feel so loved and supported. So thank you! 🤗😘❤️🌸🙏🏾🌸
