What if we allowed ourselves to be completely present,
Completely rooted and grounded,
Not only in our physical bodies,
But in our mental,
Spiritual and emotional bodies.
The action of being completely present means that we no longer run through the endless to-do lists,
The endless scripts that play over and over in our minds about things that have already happened or haven't happened.
It means we become aware of the sensations that we're currently experiencing.
Maybe if you're seated,
You notice the carpet or the floor underneath you,
If it's cold,
If it's warm.
Maybe you begin to bring your awareness softly and gently back to your breath.
Observing on each inhale as your chest rises,
Filling up with oxygen.
Observing on the exhale,
The compression that takes place in the body,
Exhaling it out.
Maybe you begin to become aware of the sounds that are penetrating your ears,
Not getting caught up,
But just being aware.
Being present,
That life is happening all around us.
That magic is waiting to be seen,
Felt and acknowledged.
To step into the truth,
That your magic,
That where you are now is not by accident.
That where you are now is a direct reflection of the work,
Of the effort,
Of the energy that you put into your life.
And also becoming very mindful that if there's something that we no longer desire in our lives,
That we no longer need,
That has already served its purpose,
That we can release it,
Without fear,
Without shame,
Without the doubt of going back and forth and back and forth about if we've made the right decision.
For love,
There is no right or wrong decisions in life,
Choices are what we make,
And every choice leads to a lesson,
And every lesson leads to an understanding,
And every understanding leads to ways that we can make our lives more beautiful.
Take a few moments here,
Just to be present with everything.
And if it feels good,
You can place your left palm on your heart,
And your right palm can rest on your belly.
And to take a really deep inhale,
Filling up through the belly,
Through the chest,
Through the shoulders,
And through the crown of the head,
Seated really tall.
And on the exhale,
See if you can maintain that space.
Taking another deep and complete inhale.
And on the exhale,
Release.
Notice if your shoulders are slightly rounded forward,
And if so,
On the exhale,
Gently draw them back,
And then down your belly,
Creating more space in the heart.
Know that you can stay here with your breath as long as you need,
And you can also come back to it whenever you need.
All you need to do is be present.
