Peace.
This is Bri and in this meditation I want to talk about becoming one with beingness,
Your wholeness,
Your truth.
Allow yourself here to find a comfortable position.
Maybe being comfortable right now is sitting cross leg against a wall,
Giving support to your back,
Your spine.
Maybe you're comfortable is lying down with a small pillow underneath your head to support you.
Allow yourself some time and space to find and create a comfortable seat.
And once you find that seat,
Go ahead and softly lower your eyes.
Your palms can be face up or face down,
Whatever feels good in your body.
And we'll begin by just focusing on the breath.
With each inhale welcoming the breath in,
Noticing the rise of the chest.
And with each exhale,
Watching the breath depart.
Take a moment here and bring your awareness to your shoulders.
Noticing if they're rounded or forward.
And if so,
On the next exhale gently take them back,
Way towards the back wall and then feel for releasing them.
Creating space between the shoulders and the ears.
And bringing that awareness,
The attention back to the breath.
Start to notice if there's any tightness in the body.
Whether it's your jaw,
Your shoulders,
Your abdomen,
Any gripping or clenching in the fingers or the toes.
And with the next exhale,
Feel for softening,
Feel for releasing and feel for surrendering.
All your energy to be rooted down into the earth through your sit bones.
Allowing your left and your right hip to become very heavy.
Starting to notice the quality of the breath.
And rather than trying to change it here,
Allow yourself for a few moments to be a witness.
Noticing the sensation that's created in the body with each inhale and the sensation that's created on the departure.
At our core,
We are light.
We are light here on a divine mission.
Yet sometimes with the many day to day tasks,
We move away from this stillness,
From this unspoken truth.
Begin to witness how you feel here.
If any thoughts arise,
Allow them to come up to the surface.
But instead of engaging them and adding to the story,
Just begin to notice if you can observe,
You can sit back and watch.
Allow them to play out and then release.
Watch and release.
Watch and release.
The goal of meditation is not to stop the thoughts,
It's to observe them.
To know that we are not those thoughts.
That the true essence of who we are,
Our beingness,
Is effortless.
Keeping your awareness on the breath.
Continue to witness and observe the highs and the lows that may be occurring.
The fluctuations of the mind that may be happening.
Know that you can take this centeredness,
The stillness that we've created with you throughout your day,
That you're more than quick responses.
That you're more than worry and anxiety.
You are peace.
You are peaceful.
You are love.
You are loved.
Allow yourself to stay here as long as you need.
Gathering what you need from within to take out.
