Welcome.

Thank you for choosing to be here and taking this moment for reflection and gratitude.

Find a comfortable and safe space to sit or lie down,

And take a long,

Slow exhale.

Then when you are ready,

Simply let your body inhale.

Take a few rhythmic breaths and settle into this moment.

With an open heart,

Invite a sense of space and peace as you prepare to reflect on gratitude.

As you inhale,

Feel serenity flow into you,

And as you exhale again,

Whisper a sincere thank you yourself for this time of stillness.

Gently bring to mind the image of someone who has positively touched your life.

Without judgement or expectation,

Simply look upon this person with gratitude.

Express your thanks for their presence in your life with all of your being.

Thank you for the presence in my life.

Now I invite you to turn your attention inward and acknowledge your own journey.

Look at the paths you've walked without judgement.

Offer gratitude for the lessons learnt and the strength gained.

Say thank you to yourself for your resilience and growth.

Thank you for my resilience and growth.

Now I invite you to extend your gratitude further to the world around you.

Look upon the day to day elements of your life,

A cup of coffee,

Or a practice that stirred your soul,

Or a beautiful view.

Offer a silent thank you for these simple yet significant joys.

Thank you for the joy and comfort in simple moments.

As you continue to breathe rhythmically,

Let the feeling of gratitude fill you more with each breath.

With every exhale,

Release a thank you into the universe for the abundance it provides,

Both seen and unseen.

Thank you universe for the abundance you share with us every day.

In the quiet space that follows,

Allow thank you to become a mantra,

Resonating with your heartbeat,

Encapsulating the profound simplicity of gratitude.

When you are ready,

Gently bring your attention to the space you are in,

Feel the seat or ground beneath you,

And gently open your eyes and feel fully alert.
