Welcome to this grounding and activation practice.
My name is Paul and it's a privilege to be guiding you.
For this short practice,
We will ground ourselves before connecting with our authentic heart to activate our energy.
Take a moment now to get comfortable,
Preferably sitting upright or laying down so your center line,
Your spine,
Is reasonably straight to allow for the natural flow of energy.
Once you are comfortable,
Take a long slow deep breath in,
Closing your eyes at the top of the breath,
And a normal exhale.
Another long slow deep breath in,
And another normal exhale,
And shift your attention to the top half of your body.
From your navel up to the crown of your head.
Take a moment to notice any tension,
Stress,
Or worry you are holding in that top half of your body.
Just notice any tension,
Stress,
Or worry you have in your head,
Your shoulders,
Maybe in your arms,
Your hands.
What tension,
Stress,
Or worry are you holding in your torso?
Visualizing where you are holding on to that tension,
Stress,
And worry,
And then take a long slow deep breath into the top half of your body and hold your breath at the top of the inhale.
While holding your breath,
Visualizing that breath flow through the top half of your body,
Picking up all the tension,
Stress,
And worry you are holding.
When you can't hold your breath any longer,
Exhale and watch the tension,
Stress,
And worry that is being collected release as you breathe out.
At the bottom of the exhale,
Return to your normal breath,
Relaxing the top half of your body.
Shift your focus now to the bottom half of your body,
From your navel down to the soles of your feet.
Take a moment to notice any tension,
Stress,
Or worry you have in that lower part of your body.
Take note of where you are holding on to tension,
Stress,
Or worry in your belly,
Your hips,
Your pelvis,
Your legs,
Maybe there's some in your feet.
Wherever it might be,
Just notice where you are holding on to tension,
Stress,
And worry in the lower half of your body.
And then when you're ready,
Taking a long,
Slow,
Deep breath into the lower half of your body,
Hold your breath at the top of the inhale.
While holding your breath,
Visualize that breath flowing through the lower half of your body,
Picking up all the tension,
Stress,
And worry you are holding.
As best you can,
Allowing your held breath to collect up all the tension,
Stress,
And worry.
And when you can't hold your breath any longer,
Exhale gently and watch all the tension,
Stress,
And worry that has been collected from the lower half of your body release as you breathe out.
At the bottom of the exhale,
Return to your normal breath.
Feel into your body.
How are you feeling?
Are you released from the tension,
Stress,
And worry you were carrying?
If not,
Pause here and repeat this process by taking a few long,
Slow,
Deep breaths into the areas in your body you can feel tension,
Stress,
And worry as being held.
Take a moment to ensure you are comfortable as we step into grounding our energy.
The first step is to connect with our energy as best we can.
Our energy naturally flows,
Just like electricity through a power cord.
Our energy is always flowing,
Even though we may not notice it or be attached to it.
Take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath into your heart area,
And a normal exhale.
Take a moment to feel into your heart.
What do you feel?
What sensations are running through your body?
Take a moment to feel into your energy,
And just go inwards.
What is your energy doing?
Is it chaotic and all over the place?
Is it calm and relaxed?
Is it gentle and flowing?
Can you feel a vibration?
Does it feel warm?
Does it feel cool?
Notice your heart energy,
However it is for you.
Sense or feel into your heart.
Don't search.
Once you have connected with whatever sensations you can feel in your heart,
Take a deep breath and a long,
Slow exhale.
At the bottom of the exhale,
Focus on the energy in your heart.
What does it look like?
What does it feel like?
Does that energy in your heart have a shape?
Just allow it to be.
Let it come forward in your mind's eye,
And take a moment to sense,
Feel or visualize your heart energy.
Now visualize a divine white light in your heart.
This white light is representing your heart energy.
Let that white light expand and engulf all of your heart.
Expand it more so it fills the whole of your chest cavity.
Let this white light be representational of your energy.
Let this light expand further into your shoulder,
Into your neck and up through your head,
Allowing it to activate all cells and molecules in the top part of your body.
Allow this divine white light to flow down across your shoulders,
Down your arms and hands,
Activating every cell and molecule.
Let this white light expand throughout your chest,
Your lower chest,
Your abdomen as it moves through your hips and pelvis,
Penetrating all cells and molecules.
Allow it to move down through your hips and pelvis,
Activating all cells and molecules.
Then into your upper legs,
To your knees,
Watching or sensing as this divine energy flows down through your lower legs into your feet.
As that light reaches the soles of your feet,
See yourself glowing in this divine grounding white light.
Every cell and molecule of your body is glowing in this white light,
And then sending this white light down through the soles of your feet,
Through whatever is below your feet between you and the earth.
Sending this white light down into the earth,
Visualize this light travelling below you into the earth.
Looking at a short distance into the earth,
See it begin to anchor you to the ground.
See this white light beginning to spread like a network of roots,
Creating a polarity for you to anchor to the earth.
Maybe seeing the earth as a concrete block,
Tethering you to the earth,
Allowing our energy to become grounded,
Allowing your energy to connect with the earth.
Hold it in tension,
This connection will keep you grounded for the rest of the day,
To remain centered and focused,
To allow you to achieve all you desire today.
Feeling as that divine white light traces back up out of the ground,
To your feet,
Your legs,
Your hips and pelvis,
Your belly,
Chest,
And to your fingertips,
And up to the crown of your head.
In your mind's eye,
See yourself activated by this divine white light of yours.
Feel yourself grounded and activated,
Set the intention you will remain grounded for the rest of the day,
So you can achieve all that you desire.
Taking a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in,
And on the exhale,
Releasing all visualizations.
Another long,
Slow,
Deep breath in.
On the exhale,
Begin to sense your surroundings,
Walls,
Floors,
Furniture,
Grass,
Trees,
Wherever you may be,
And bring your senses back into your body.
And one last long,
Slow,
Deep breath in,
And on this exhale,
Slowly bring your awareness into this reality,
Sensing into your surrounds even more,
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes,
And have a wonderful day.
