Living In the Heart - Guided Meditation... We live in turbulent times, and that can be difficult. Because being continually angry and fearful fuels more chaos. The antidote is to recenter our attention in our heart centers. We actually have 3 heart centers, the physical heart, the spiritual heart, the home of our soul, the I am presence, and finally the mystical heart, our connection with the Oneness of All-that-is. This meditation aligns us and reconnects us to our own inner peace. From that place of peace, we can be of benefit to the world by being calm, compassionate, and kind. Living in the heart,

A guided meditation for calm,

Connection,

And kindness.

We live in turbulent times and that can be difficult.

This meditation will focus us in the three heart centers,

The physical heart,

The spiritual heart,

The home of the I am,

And the mystical heart,

The vastness and openness of all that is.

As we connect to our inner peace,

Anger and fear that fuels the chaos will dissipate.

So find a comfortable position and allow your body to settle.

Let your breath soften.

With each inhale,

Feel yourself arriving at your true home within.

And with each exhale,

Let go.

Release the worries,

The stress,

The anger.

Now put your attention inside your belly and just below the navel.

Imagine,

From this spot,

Energy flowing down into the earth.

Down,

Down,

Down.

Anchoring you to the depths of Mother Earth.

Energy flowing in both directions,

Securing you to and replenishing your body from our own Mother Gaia.

Bring your attention to the crown of your head.

Imagine,

From this spot,

A beam of light shooting into the heavens.

Up,

Up,

Up.

Connecting to the celestial realms so that your light intertwines with the heavenly light.

The radiance filling you and supporting you.

Bring your awareness to your heart,

Not just to your body.

Not just the idea of your heart,

But the living,

Beating center of your body.

Since before you were born,

Your heart has been with you.

It began beating in the womb.

In fact,

It was the very first organ that formed.

From that moment,

Your heart has been quietly and faithfully serving you.

Your heart has never asked for recognition,

And yet it has carried you through every moment of your life.

Let yourself feel gratitude for this sacred organ,

For its rhythm,

Its resilience,

Its quiet devotion.

As your breath moves gently in and out,

Honor your precious heart's service.

Whisper to it now,

Thank you,

Thank you,

My precious heart.

Now shift your awareness further inward,

Beyond the physical heart,

Deeper into that heart space.

This is the subtle center of your being where unconditional love lives.

Imagine this space glowing softly with warm light.

Within this light is the essence of divine love,

Freely given,

Boundless,

Ever-present.

We call this space the abode of the I am presence.

You don't have to earn this love.

You don't have to chase it.

It's already here within you.

It is the very essence of you.

Sense it around you.

Feel it within you.

The acceptance you crave.

The soft center of you.

Settle in here.

Experience this calm,

Welcoming space.

You are this love.

Imagine being held safe within it.

Allow yourself to be embraced.

And for the next couple of minutes,

Breathe.

And think to yourself,

I love you.

Don't judge it.

Allow it.

I love you.

As you rest in this heart space,

Begin to sense the connection between your heart and the hearts of others.

Every person,

No matter their story,

Carries this same loving essence.

Beneath all differences,

This light is shared.

Let your heart gently open to this truth.

There is no need to judge,

To compare,

Or to fix.

Just rest in the knowing we are all connected.

And let kindness rise naturally from within.

And let compassion flow effortlessly.

You are a part of a great web of life.

Conceived in love.

Whisper it now and send it out to all people.

You are loved.

You are so very loved.

And now we will enter the great silence.

No words.

No effort.

Just being.

We enter the great silence by pretending.

Pretend you don't have a name.

Pretend you don't have a race,

Or a country,

Or a religion.

Pretend you don't remember where you grew up.

Pretend you don't remember anything about yourself.

Not your family,

Friends,

Career,

No likes or dislikes.

Just pretend to be nothing.

A blank slate.

Just energy.

Conscious only that you exist.

And just float here in this point of pure potential.

Enter the eternal now and just be.

When thoughts try to intrude,

To tell you a new story,

Ignore them.

Return to your essence.

You exist.

You are the I am presence.

Begin to gently return now.

Feel your breath expanding your chest.

Feel your body come into your body.

Carry this heart space with you into the world.

May you live from love.

May you see the light in one another.

And may kindness guide your way.
