Transcript

Let's take a few moments to turn inwards.

Starting to tune into our minds,

Our bodies,

Our breath.

And beginning to quieten the mind.

Coming to a place of ease,

A place of peace and a place of stillness.

Leaving the world outside of the studio and coming into your body.

Your body lying on the mat,

Your time for you.

Feel all the tension and stress in your body starting to dissolve.

Unclench the jaw,

Rest the tongue in the roof of your mouth.

Relax your shoulders,

Soften the muscles of your face.

Soften the muscles of your neck.

Soften the muscles of your back.

Let go of anything that happened before this.

And let go of anything you have to do after.

Simply be in this present moment.

And then begin to softly breathe in for four counts.

And out for five counts.

Breathing in for four counts.

And out for six counts.

Breathing in for four counts.

And out for seven counts.

Breathing in for four counts.

And out for eight counts.

Then rest in your nest.

And bring your awareness to your breath.

And to your body,

Relaxing the belly,

Softening your mind.

And feel the support beneath you.

Feel yourself connected with the ground below.

Let it take your weight.

Become aware of any of the sounds around you.

Let them be there,

Be aware of them.

But don't get caught up in them.

Notice the air touching the body.

Sense the sky above you.

And the earth below you supporting you.

And you feeling fully supported.

Ground yourself in this moment here and now.

Beginning to sense the space around you.

And then take your awareness to the base of your tailbone,

Your root chakra.

And as you breathe into this area of this point,

Envision a beautiful red crystal.

Sparkling from the base of the spine,

Growing and expanding.

And then imagine yourself sat on your favourite piece of earth.

Maybe your garden.

Perhaps part of your favourite walk.

Sitting on a mountain,

A beach,

Wherever it is,

Just welcome.

A sense of belonging.

A deep connection to Mother Earth.

Knowing you belong here,

You deserve to be here.

And moving up your spine to your second chakra,

Your sacral chakra.

In your lower back.

And as you breathe into this area,

Imagine a bright orange crystal.

Glowing.

And then imagine floating in your favourite type of water.

Maybe in the bath,

Maybe in a pool,

The lake,

The sea.

This is to help remind you of the feeling of going with the flow.

Of trusting and letting go of control.

Embracing trust.

And moving up the spine,

Moving the breath to the mid-back.

Above the belly button.

The solar plexus.

And envision a bright yellow crystal glowing like the sun from your solar plexus.

With each breath it grows and expands.

And as it does,

Imagine the sun shining down on you.

Perhaps on a beautiful day,

Feeling the sun on your skin.

Feeling the sun on your hair,

On your clothes,

Warming you up.

And this sun is reminding you of your power.

And what you are capable of.

And begin to move the energy further up the body between the shoulder blades.

To your heart chakra.

The middle of your chest.

And as your breath goes into this area,

You see a beautiful green crystal.

Surrounding the area of your heart.

Keeping it safe and held.

And as you do,

Imagine yourself walking through your favourite green place.

Perhaps a forest,

Fields,

A park.

And as you were there,

Bring to mind somebody who you love and adore.

And let that loving warmth fill you.

Let it fill you from the inside.

Let that feeling of being loved.

Let that warmth settle into your bones,

Your cells,

Your heart space.

Then moving further up the spine to the back of the neck.

The front of the throat,

To the throat chakra.

And as your breath moves into this space,

Imagine a bright blue crystal.

And see yourself floating with the clouds in the sky.

And with that sense of feeling of freedom.

In that space.

Perhaps remembering a time when you felt absolutely free to speak.

And say whatever you needed to say.

And also to know that you would be heard.

Allowing that freedom to speak and to sink into your body.

And bringing your energy further up the spine to the back of the head.

Around the forehead,

The third eye chakra.

Right between the brows.

And as you breathe into this space,

You see a bright violet indigo crystal shining.

Expanding and growing.

And as you do,

Imagine yourself looking at the earth,

The world in front of you.

Floating around the outer atmosphere.

And in this infinite space,

I want you to remember a time of deep inner knowing.

When you knew something to be absolutely true.

You knew something to be absolutely right.

And this is reminding you to always trust your inner wisdom.

And moving to the crown chakra.

Which lives at the very top of the head.

And as you breathe into this space,

Imagine a beautiful white petaled lotus flower.

Sitting on top of your head.

Seeing everything in front of you,

Your life in front of you.

Knowing you are held,

Knowing you are supported.

Soaking in the knowledge you are surrounded by love.

And feel all the chakras from the root chakra to the crown chakra all as one.

Your body all connected,

Your body balanced.

Your body in harmony.

And take a moment to feel the energy that lives in your body.

Being curious about how it feels.

And soak in this feeling of balance.

And take a moment to connect to that heart space.

And send yourself some love and some appreciation for yourself.

For being present and being here today.

And begin to deepen the breath.

Becoming aware of the room around you.

The clothes on your body.

The breath flowing through your body.
