Hello,

My friend.

I want to welcome you to this meditation on relaxing into a deep,

Deep sleep.

If you're listening to this meditation,

You may be someone who has some challenge falling asleep or staying asleep.

And I know how hard this can be,

Because sleep is so foundational.

It is so foundational for health,

Physical,

Mental,

Emotional,

Even spiritual health.

So I wanted to offer you a meditation to support you in relaxing into a wonderful,

Nourishing,

Deep,

Deep sleep.

So let us begin,

My friends.

Let us begin by closing the eyes.

And I invite you to get really comfortable in your bed.

Get cozy.

Tuck the covers in,

Just so.

Arrange your pillow.

And let's take a few breaths.

Let yourself breathe gently,

With ease.

I guess falling asleep can be so easy,

My friend.

Every breath invites you to relax,

To feel how your whole body can sink in to your cozy bed.

You might even notice that the body is feeling heavy,

And that the whole back side of the body nestles in to your bed.

Every breath helps you to relax.

And you may notice that as your body relaxes,

Your mind also relaxes.

And any thoughts about your day can just settle.

And perhaps you can trust that today was a day well lived.

And you can even take a breath,

To acknowledge how you showed up for your life,

For the people in your life,

For all the tasks that fall to you.

Just acknowledging how well you showed up.

And perhaps you can allow a little smile to cross your lips.

Smiling and acknowledging yourself.

And I know that the mind can chime in.

And I know that your list is long.

And I want to let you in on a little secret.

And the secret is that most of us,

I would venture to say even all of us,

Leave things for tomorrow.

And we love ourselves anyway.

So,

Allowing each breath to be a breath of self-love.

And you may notice that each breath of self-love supports deeper and deeper relaxation.

You are invited,

Dear friend,

To rest,

To rest into the spaces between my words.

And you may notice that the more you rest,

The more the body and mind can surrender to deep sleep,

Deep sleep.

Surrender into deep sleep,

Dear one.

And you are held,

You are held in love.

And every cell and fiber of your body and being is being nourished,

Fed with each gentle breath,

A breath of self-love.

And you don't need to follow the words,

Just rest,

Letting the body get heavier and heavier,

Allowing yourself to drift off into the most wonderful,

Nourishing,

Delicious sleep.

You can surrender,

You can surrender into sleep,

Letting any tension melt away.

Any tension is melting away and being released through the fingertips and through the soles of the feet.

The more you surrender,

The deeper you can relax into this nourishing,

Healing sleep.

You are being healed as you sleep,

Allowing this gentle wave of heaviness to caress your whole body,

Letting go,

Dear one,

Letting go.

And as you sleep,

You are being cleansed,

Cleansed of any negative thinking that's all being ever so gently washed away.

Breathing every breath,

A breath of self-love into this deep,

Deep healing sleep.

And your whole body and being receiving healing energy,

So that in the morning,

When you awaken,

You will feel revitalized,

Cleansed,

Healed,

And refreshed.

As you listen to this meditation,

The deeper and deeper you will sleep,

The deeper and deeper you will fall asleep.

Breathing self-love and dropping down and down and down,

My friend.

You can trust that you are held.

You are held in pure love.

And as you sleep,

You are being cleansed.

This river of self-love is healing all parts of you.

All parts of you are being healed and held in this deep,

Deep love.

This is deep,

Deep love.

As you sink even deeper into sleep,

Into restful,

Healing sleep.

And as you sleep,

You are being cleansed.

Every gentle breath,

A breath of self-love,

A breath of healing.

And you can listen to this meditation every night.

You are training yourself to relax and surrender into deep,

Deep healing sleep.

And every time you listen to this meditation,

You are opening and softening and widening the pathways to deep,

Deep sleep.

Deep healing sleep.

And,

Dear one,

You will awaken,

Feeling rested,

Deeply rested,

Revitalized,

Relaxed,

And in very subtle ways that will continue to reveal themselves over time.

As you listen to this meditation again and again,

You will go deeper and deeper,

Allowing the breath of self-love to heal you and free you.

Rest,

Dear one.

Rest into deep,

Deep,

Deep sleep.

Relax into deep,

Deep sleep.
