In this class,
I invite you to take a moment to choose a comfortable position for yourself,
Making sure that you feel effortlessly relaxed and at ease.
So you may like to sit up and you may like to lay down,
Taking up as much space as you need.
Looking down the eyes,
Bringing the focus to the breath as it naturally flows.
Noticing if the breath is flowing in through the nose or the mouth and out through the nose or the mouth.
And the goal here is to have no goal,
To allow the breath to flow as it wants to effortlessly.
And as you track the flow of the breath in and out,
Notice where the breath is expanding on each inhale.
Notice where the breath is drawing the body in on each exhale.
And I now invite you to bring your breath in through the nose and out through the nose.
Bring the inhale and the exhale to be soft and long,
Extended.
As you allow the breath to flow in and out,
Checking in with your body to feel sensations.
To notice where the body is speaking to you through the language of feeling.
Just nothing to change,
Nothing to fix.
Allowing each breath in and out to become a little longer,
A little more drawn out if that's available to you.
Deeply in.
And deeply out.
Deeply in.
And deeply out.
If there are any areas of the body inviting more relaxation or openness,
This is your opportunity to respond by opening,
Softening and letting go.
You to allow these breaths to be long and deep,
In and out of the nose.
And let's bring the focus to the center of the chest.
Feeling the breath passing through the chest as it makes its way to the diaphragm.
Breathing through the rib cage and the abdomen on each inhale.
Gently drawing in,
Belly softens and chest falls and relaxes effortlessly on each exhale.
Breathing at the center of the heart space and breathing through the heart.
With each deep breath we invite space.
This is your time,
Your practice.
This is your moment with yourself.
Where you acknowledge your inner world,
Allowing the outer noise to become quiet and allowing this time with you to be the most important thing.
With each breath that you take,
I invite you to feel what it feels like to know that you are creating space for yourself.
Every inhale,
Feel the space that you are creating.
Every exhale,
Feel the release,
The letting go.
Every inhale invites you to land deeper in the space you are creating.
Every exhale allows you to relax into the space and to feel the energy of your heart calling for your attention and acknowledgement.
Calling for you to feel and listen.
And as you land here,
Home,
Within yourself,
Connected to your heart,
I invite you to ponder what does your inner guidance want you to know right now?
What does your inner guidance want you to know right now?
And if your heart could have a say in how you could love yourself more,
What would it say?
Deep,
Slow breaths.
What does your heart specifically want you to know right now?
Bring this wisdom with you into the rest of your day.
Now is the time where I invite you to expand your awareness to encompass your entire body.
Starting to feel where the outer edges of your body meet the space that you are in.
Opening your eyes to reconnect to the space around you.
Feeling this connection to your heart is still here and this depth of breath is still available to carry with you beyond the cishen.
Take a look around.
Living fully,
Present,
Connected,
Restored.
And as this class comes to a completion,
Remember your breath is a resource available to you in all moments to guide you home into connection with your inner guidance and the wisdom of your inner guidance.
