The future is something to look forward to, not a place to escape to, and even if you like to dream or fantasize about what lies ahead for you, do it mindfully. Be conscious about what you want to create for yourself in the days ahead, and be clear about what your intentions are. There's nothing wrong with thinking about the beautiful future ahead. You deserve the absolute best future possible. But make your present moments the best they can be, and you will reap the benefits.

Hi,

It's Aura.

This is the meditation for the future.

Find a quiet place to sit.

Close your eyes.

Feel yourself where you are right now.

Note the room,

Any sounds,

Thoughts,

Feelings,

Or bodily sensations.

Invite yourself to be present in your meditation.

Tell yourself it's okay to let everything and everyone go.

Release any tension you might be holding in your body.

Put your focus and awareness onto your breath.

Take a few deep breaths in and out.

If your mind begins to wander at any time,

Bring your focus and awareness back to your breath,

Which will always bring you back to the present moment.

Say silently,

I am aware of the future.

I am aware of the future.

I am aware of the future.

Say silently,

I don't need to be there.

I am aware of the future.

Say silently,

I trust what the future holds for me.

I am aware of the future.

I am aware of the future.

Say silently,

I am in the present.

I am aware of the future.

I am aware of the future.

Say silently,

My focus and awareness are in this moment.

Say silently,

This moment is enough.

This moment is enough.

This moment is enough.

Bring your focus and awareness back to your body.

When you are ready,

Slowly open your eyes.

Be aware that you are still in the moment of now and that there is no need to rush out of it.

Take as much time as you need to transition out of your meditation.
