Transcript

Connection.

Find yourself in a comfortable sitting position.

This can be on the floor,

On a cushion,

On a chair.

If you're sitting in a chair,

Sit a little closer to the edge so that in whatever position you choose,

It's easy for your body to be upright.

Take a deep breath.

Feel your lungs filling up with the air around you.

Feeling that air go deep into your lungs and then traveling,

That oxygen travels into your blood,

Flowing into every cell of your body.

As you exhale,

Feel everything that needs to be released from inside of your body,

Traveling out through your lungs,

Back out into the world around you.

As you breathe in,

Feel that connection with the air.

As the air goes into your lungs,

It brings oxygen into your blood,

Nourishing every cell of your body.

As you exhale,

Everything that needs to be let go of from every cell of your body travels through your blood,

Back to your lungs,

And back out into the air around you.

Letting your breath just be slow and light,

Deepening that connection between the outside world,

Outside of your body,

And the inside world,

Inside of your body.

As you continue to breathe slowly and lightly,

Allow your body to soften,

Loosening all of the muscles and tendons in your body.

These muscles and tendons and ligaments connect every part of your body.

Begin to feel your whole body connected.

As you relax your body more and more,

Begin to feel an inner expansion.

As you breathe in to every cell of your body,

Gently feel inside of you opening up to more connection.

And as you exhale,

Keep that feeling of expansion inside,

But then loosen,

But then loosen,

Loosen your muscles,

Loosen any tension anywhere in your body.

Keep allowing your breath to be slow and light.

Enjoying that connection between the outside world and the inside world through your breath.

This breath that connects every cell of your body with the air around you.

And for just one more minute on your own,

Allow yourself to relax and open up to that connection,

Connection of your breath.

And now turning your attention inside,

Feeling all of your internal organs connected,

Your physical heart which pumps blood through your whole body,

Your kidneys connected to all the blood in your body,

Your liver,

Your spleen,

Your stomach,

Everywhere inside of your body is connected.

Feel the connection of your nervous system running from your brain down through your spine.

These nerves that run into every part of your body,

Whole body is connected.

And keep allowing your body to relax more and more,

Deepening into that connection and feeling yourself on your cushion or chair on the floor and settling into your connection with the earth.

Allowing yourself to feel grounded and rooted,

And rooted,

Stable,

Connected to the miles and miles of earth beneath your feet.

Feel that connection between your physical body and the earth and feel your connection with the energy of the earth,

That lush,

Green,

Lively earth energy flowing up from the earth into your body,

Letting your body become one with the earth.

Everywhere is connected.

As we eat the food from the earth goes into our body nourishes every cell.

And then we release whatever's left over back to the earth.

Feeling your whole body connected as one with your skin,

And your blood,

Your muscles and tendons,

Nervous system,

All the deep intricate pathways in your body connecting every cell to every other cell.

And then your body connected to the earth.

And now for just one more minute on your own,

Feel into that connection of your whole body and that connection with the earth.

Let yourself become one with the earth.

And now begin to bring your awareness to your heart center.

Not just your physical heart,

But your energetic heart.

And as you breathe in,

Feel your heart gently opening up more,

Expanding out into nature,

Connecting with the world around you.

And as you exhale,

Feeling that connection to nature going deep inside of your heart,

Deep inside of your whole body.

Our heart is the center of connection between us and the world us and nature between us and other people.

So as you allow your heart to gently open and expand,

Deepening your connection with nature,

The world around you.

And as you relax your heart,

That connection goes deep into your heart,

Deep into your whole body,

Allowing your heart to open up and expand even more,

Connecting to the trees,

The forests and the oceans,

All the mountains and rivers and lakes,

Connecting to all the animals in the world,

And also allowing yourself to feel more connected to all of humanity,

Everyone on the planet,

Opening up your connection.

As you gently breathe in,

Allowing your heart to expand,

Expand,

Connecting,

Connecting everywhere around you,

To the whole world,

All of humanity.

As you gently exhale,

Feel that connection going deep inside.

Begin to feel a oneness with yourself and the world around you,

With all the people around you,

And all the nature around you.

Now for one more minute on your own,

Explore that opening and deepening connection between your heart and nature,

The whole world,

And all of humanity.

And now bring your awareness to the center of your head,

The center of your mind,

And allow your mind now to begin to expand.

Feel your mind expanding out into the sky,

Up into the solar system,

Up into the whole universe.

And then as you gently exhale now,

Feel that connection with the universe going deep into your mind.

So we've explored a connection with our breath,

A connection with our body,

A connection with our heart,

And now there's a connection with your mind expanding out into the universe.

Now your mind feels connected.

Keep relaxing your mind and allowing this energy or this light from the middle of your head to expand.

Connect to everywhere.

Connect to all the planets,

All the galaxies,

Connecting to the vastness of space,

Connecting with all the ends of the ends of the universe,

All the edges.

And there's also an opening up and allowing of that connection back into your mind.

And begin to feel a sense of oneness,

Your mind and the universe becoming one,

Deeply and intimately connected.

All of the neurons in your brain connecting to all the stars in the galaxy.

Keep allowing your mind to expand,

Deepening that connection.

Your mind is expanding,

Connecting to the whole universe.

And the whole universe is connecting back into your mind.

And now for the next minute or so,

Allowing your mind to continue to expand,

Becoming one with the universe,

Connected to the universe at the deepest level.

And as you continue to connect to your breath and to the earth and nature and the whole universe,

You begin to deepen your connection with love.

Allow yourself to merge with that universal,

Unconditional love.

As you breathe in to your lungs,

Imagine yourself breathing in love into every cell of your body.

And as you exhale,

Feel that love expanding out into the air.

As you breathe in,

Feel yourself connecting to the love of the whole of the earth.

And as you exhale,

Allow that love from the earth to travel into your body.

As you inhale,

Allowing your heart to expand,

Connecting to the love in nature.

And then exhaling,

Allowing that love from nature to go deep into your own heart.

As you inhale again,

Allowing your love to connect to everybody on the planet,

All of humanity.

And as you exhale,

And as you exhale,

Feel love from all of humanity back into yourself.

And as you inhale,

Imagine connecting to the love of the whole universe,

The very essence of love.

And as you exhale,

Feel that unconditional,

Universal love settling deep into your own being,

And become one with that love,

That love that connects everything.

Begin to feel your connection with every part of your life,

With your work,

With your home life,

With your community,

Your connection with all of your friends,

With your romantic partners,

Every part of your life,

The town you live in,

Country you live in.

See yourself going about your day connected,

Connected to that unconditional love.

Feel that love connect every part of your life.

For one more minute,

Allow yourself to deepen into your connection with your life,

Every part of your life.

And now gently bringing your awareness back to your own body.

Bring your attention to your own center.

You can imagine a point,

An inch or so below your belly button in the very center of your lower abdomen.

And as you do,

Allow that feeling of connection to settle deep inside of your body,

Connection of your body through your blood and meridians and nervous system.

Feel your connection with the earth settling deep inside of your body,

Feeling your connection with nature,

The world around you,

All of humanity,

Settling deep inside of your body.

Feel that connection with the whole universe,

That oneness with the universe,

Settling deep inside of your body and letting that connection with love,

Universal,

Unconditional love,

Settling deep inside of your body,

Allowing that connection to settle more and more connection to settle more and more.

You are one with your body,

One with the earth,

One with nature,

One with all of humanity,

One with the whole universe,

And one with love.

All of this connected to the deepest part of you.

For one more minute on your own,

Allow yourself to settle into that full,

Complete connection.

And now very gently returning back to your breath,

Breathing naturally and fully,

Returning back to your normal life in the room that you're in.

And as you go about your day today,

Feeling that connection,

Feeling your life connected everywhere and relaxing into that connection wherever you go.
