
Relax Into Unconditional Love
This guided meditation will help you to relax into an open heart full of unconditional love. Experience yourself as a big body of love and use this to transform your life into one full of joy, ease, and happiness.

Hello and welcome to open-hearted meditation.
A journey into your heart,
To the heart of the earth,
Heart of the universe,
To connect with universal love or unconditional love.
So let's start the practice by finding a comfortable sitting position.
This can be on a chair or on the floor or on a cushion and find yourself sitting upright.
So if you're on a chair sitting a little closer to the edge,
Feel your head and your torso are in line and then just settle into your body,
Letting the chair or cushion or floor support your full weight and feel yourself relaxing downward at the same time as your head is gently stretching upward.
We'll spend a little time just loosening our body,
Relaxing.
So letting go of your breath,
Just letting your breath be slow and light.
Relaxing inside,
Letting go of that need to control the breath,
Just letting go.
Relaxing any tension in your lungs and your chest.
Just let your lungs naturally breathe in and out.
Now bringing your attention to your neck,
See if you can imagine all of the muscles and tendons in your neck as many fine strands of silk blowing in the wind.
You can imagine yourself combing those strands of silk effortlessly,
Clearing out any knots or tensions that exist in your neck,
Opening up the space between all the muscles,
All the strands.
All the muscles begin just to loosen,
Open,
Becoming untangled and let that feeling go through your shoulders,
Feeling all of the muscles and ligaments and tendons in your shoulders begin to soften.
You can imagine taking a comb,
Gently sliding the comb through all the muscles in your shoulders so that all of the strands and muscle fibers are just soft and flowing and imagining all of the muscles in your upper arms softening and opening,
Shaking out the strands,
Letting go of the tangles,
Seeing all the muscles in your arms become smooth and flowing all the way down through your lower arms,
Giving your hands and fingers,
Imagining all of the tendons and muscles,
Ligaments and the palms of your hands and down through your fingers,
Imagine them like they're floating effortlessly and then going back to your neck and your shoulders,
Continuing down your back.
See if you can imagine taking a comb down the entire length of your back,
Soothing out all of the muscles,
All of the individual strands of every ligament,
Every muscle,
Feeling all of the muscles in your back floating in a breeze like strands of silk floating in the breeze,
Very loose,
And imagining all the muscles inside of your torso also loosening and then continuing down to your hips,
Your upper legs,
Letting all of the individual strands of muscles and tendons to open and flow and then down through your lower legs,
Feeling all the muscles in your calves begin to straighten and loosen and then down to your feet,
Ankles,
Muscles along the arch of your foot,
Imagine them softening,
See if you can picture all the individual strands of muscles in your feet begin to open and flow,
Then just imagining your whole body,
See if you can picture all the muscles in your entire body like they're hanging in the wind,
The breeze is gently blowing all of the strands,
There's absolutely no tension,
No tangles,
Plenty of room for all the muscles in your body to move freely,
And as the muscles in your body begin to relax,
Can feel the flow of energy through your body begins to become more effortless,
Energy in your body begins to expand,
Expanding and relaxing,
Try to imagine the space between all of the cells in your body getting farther and farther apart,
Your body becoming lighter,
So much space between the cells in your body,
And then have a feeling of opening up,
Opening up your body to the air around you,
You can imagine the skin pores on your body opening and the air and energy from around you begins to enter through your skin pores flowing through your body,
Nourishing you,
Filling you up with clean energy,
Fresh Qi or life energy,
As you open more and more to the air around you,
Opening up to nature,
Making a connection with the nature,
With the plants and animals,
Opening up to the trees,
The mountains,
The oceans and rivers,
The cycle of the seasons and the weather patterns around the world,
Feel yourself connecting to,
Dissolving into nature,
You can feel yourself becoming one with the world,
One with nature,
Just think open,
Think my body is open,
Inviting nature in,
Inviting that fresh clean life energy or Qi into your body,
Into yourselves,
As your body begins to open your heart also begins to open and connect with nature,
Connecting with the energy of love,
Love from nature into your body,
And feel the energy from your heart expanding,
You can also imagine yourself connecting with the earth and feeling grounded and stable and supported.
The energy from the earth coming up through your body,
Nourishing,
Strengthening your body,
You and as you continue to open and feel yourself expanding out into the sky,
Connecting with the atmosphere and then going even farther connecting with our solar system,
Try to imagine planets revolving around the Sun,
And feel yourself becoming one with our solar system,
Try to feel the natural movement of the universe,
Continuing to expand becoming one with the whole universe,
Allowing your heart to continue to open and expand becoming one with the unconditional love,
The basic energy of the whole universe,
And begin to feel like you're a big body of love,
Your heart is big as the whole universe,
Full of unlimited energy and unlimited love.
Try to relax into that mighty expansion,
That sense of no boundaries,
Merge with the universe,
No separation.
The feeling is that you are a big body of love.
Try to feel the whole universe.
Or imagine that you can see the entire universe at once.
Relaxing even more into that unconditional love,
Unlimited love,
And just one more minute allow yourself to continue to expand letting go,
Connecting,
Merging.
You are a big body of love.
And now begin to bring your attention and your awareness back from that mighty expansion,
Back to your own body,
Bringing your consciousness and your awareness to your lower abdomen,
In the very center,
Also called your dantian.
Feel energy or chi collecting in your dantian,
Bringing that mighty expansion back into your own body.
And feel like you have the whole universe in your lower abdomen.
Imagine your dantian a little more.
Try to feel the flow of chi or energy in your dantian.
And then begin to think of your life and the things that you need to do today or this week.
And picture yourself doing them,
Remembering that you have this connection to the universe in your belly,
This unlimited energy,
Unlimited love,
Grounded and centered inside of you.
As you go through your day or your work,
You can imagine yourself having that energy from the universe flowing out from you,
Love from the universe pouring out from your heart.
You can see yourself relaxed,
Energized,
Joyful as you go through your day effortlessly with no worries,
No stress,
Relaxing into your connection with nature,
Your connection with the earth,
And your connection with the whole universe.
You can see yourself giving love and receiving love from all around you.
From nature,
From the earth,
From the people in your life,
With a deep sense of confidence and relaxation.
One more minute.
Imagining yourself going through your day as a big body of love,
Very happy,
Very easeful,
Very joyful.
And when you're ready,
Take a couple of deep breaths,
Returning back to your normal life,
Returning back to your body.
