Hello and welcome to open-hearted meditation,
A journey into the heart,
The heart of yourself,
The heart of the universe,
The heart of the earth.
Journey into the qualities of an open heart,
Sense of relaxation and confidence,
Courage.
So first just finding yourself in a comfortable sitting position.
This can be on a cushion,
On the floor,
On a chair,
Whatever is best for you.
And feel your body being upright.
So first allowing yourself to settle and sink downward into your your sitting position,
Feeling yourself stable and grounded.
And also feel yourself gently pulled upward from the top of your head,
From the crown of your head,
Gently stretching upward.
Then allow your breath to just be slow and light.
You relax into this sitting position,
A feeling of holding that position with some force but no force.
So a feeling of expanding from the inside along with the deep relaxation.
So not slumping and not rigid but a full and relaxed feeling.
As you breathe slowly and lightly allow the space between all of the cells in your body to begin to get a little farther apart.
Relaxing more,
Not just relaxing your muscles but also relaxing this every cell of your body.
Relaxing your internal organs,
Relaxing your face,
Feeling your face becoming smooth,
No stress in your jaws,
Letting go of any tension in your shoulders and your neck.
Continuing to allow a feeling of expansion.
Maybe there is a feeling of coming home to your body as you go throughout your day and read the news or have some difficult situations.
It can be easy to become out of your body.
Have the feeling of settling into yourself,
Returning home to your body,
Feeling yourself fully inside.
As you open up your body you can even feel the skin pores of your body opening,
Relaxing your skin.
As you open more energy from all around you begins to flow into your body.
The energy inside of your body begins to flow more freely,
Exchanging with the energy that's outside.
So at the same time as you're taking these slow and light breaths,
There's air coming into your lungs.
There's also energy.
Chinese call it Qi,
Indians call it Prada.
A feeling of life force or life energy.
So opening up,
Allowing more life energy in your body and allowing that energy to flow freely inside of your body and then between you and nature,
You and the whole world.
And as this energy begins to flow freely and build in your body,
Have a feeling of more self-confidence,
More energy to work on yourself.
You can have a feeling like some inner courage has awakened inner confidence.
You can have a feeling like some inner courage has awakened inner confidence.
Settling into this,
To your body,
The feeling of trusting yourself,
Trusting your body.
For one more minute just have the feeling of opening and allowing more energy,
More vitality,
More confidence.
Confidence in your own body.
And then gradually begin to turn your attention to your heart.
Not just your physical heart but your energetic heart,
Your heart center.
Also have a feeling that that heart center begins to relax and expand and open very gently,
Very softly.
The heart begins to open,
To relax.
Light from your heart begins to shine out.
And the light from the universe begins to shine into your heart.
Feel your heart connecting with nature,
With the whole world.
Let your heart expand,
Open.
Being supported by the confidence,
Courage you feel in your own body,
Your heart also begins to feel confident,
Courageous.
Your heart begins to rest in that open body so that your heart can open even more.
So more energy flowing from you.
Not just energy but also love,
Unconditional love,
An open free flowing love from your heart out into the world and from the world back into your heart.
Your heart continues to expand,
Becoming full of energy,
Full of chi,
Full of love.
With that open heart becomes easier for your heart to feel connected.
From that connection comes more confidence,
More courage,
Feeling that you are a big body of love.
So important to keep the heart open because when the heart is open and you have this full flowing love coming through you,
From you,
And into you.
This love energizes your body,
Energizes your heart.
This love is the source of the confidence and courage you feel.
Continuing to let your breath be slow and light.
And like warm water melting ice this love continues to open your heart even more,
Purifying your heart.
Your heart becomes clear like water.
Feel your heart connecting to the trees,
The birds,
And animals around you,
To the mountains and rivers of this world,
To the oceans and forests.
For just one more minute continue to allow your heart open to expand,
To connect.
You And then gradually shift your attention now to your mind.
You can place your awareness in the very center of your head and have the feeling that your mind is resting now in your open heart.
Your mind becomes very quiet,
Connected to the earth,
Connected with nature,
And now beginning also to connect with the whole universe.
You Now you can really feel like a big body of love merged with the universe.
Your mind begins to feel empowered,
Connected,
Limitless.
And it's from that feeling of connection that your mind begins to know real courage and real confidence.
Courage and confidence from the whole universe,
Letting go of your body,
Letting go of your heart,
Letting go of your normal life,
And just allowing your mind merge with the universe.
You You and the universe are one.
There's a feeling of a mighty expansion and deep knowing that you can do anything that you want,
Anything that you're called to do.
It's no space for worries,
Just a big feeling of connection,
Confidence,
Courage.
And you begin to merge with the unconditional love that created the universe.
Relax into that feeling of expansion and connection.
Even revel in it,
Enjoy that feeling.
You Now for one more minute,
Try to expand a little more,
To let go,
To allow that connection to feel a little deeper,
A little fuller.
You and the universe are one.
You and the universe are one.
You and the universe are one.
You and the universe are one.
And now gradually and gently coming back from that feeling of expansion,
And now turning attention to your life,
And allow that feeling of confidence in your body,
Courage in your heart,
That feeling of connection with the universe,
To begin to go into your life.
Can see yourself going about your work or your hobbies,
Just your day-to-day life now with that feeling of relaxation in your body,
Openness in your heart,
Allowing yourself to find more courage and confidence in your day-to-day life.
Let that energy flow into your work,
Your business.
Allow that confidence and connection to flow into your relationships,
And the way you interact with other people.
Allow that feeling of confidence to settle deep inside,
Also realizing that it takes work to keep the heart open,
To keep that confidence and connection.
See yourself going through your day maintaining that connection.
You can even imagine this affecting your community,
Your whole community has more confidence,
Courage,
Connection.
Your town,
The state you live in,
Can even feel your whole country full of connection,
Openness,
Full of love and courage.
You can even imagine this feeling in the whole world,
A world with a big open heart,
Relaxed bodies,
Connected with nature,
With the earth,
With the universe,
Can feel the unconditional love flowing through all of humanity,
With yourself as an effortless part of that connection,
Of that love.
For just one more minute,
Enjoy the feeling of openness,
Connection,
Courage and confidence in your body,
In your heart,
In your mind,
And in your life.
Now very gently bring your awareness back to the room you're in,
To your body sitting in its meditation position,
Start to feel returning to your normal life.
You can take some deep breaths,
Feeling your lungs again,
Feeling your body begin to wake up,
And whenever you're ready can open your eyes,
Bringing your hands to your knees,
Feeling your legs,
Feeling your body,
And returning.
And as you go throughout your day today,
Walk through your day with a relaxed body,
A big open heart,
Connected to the universe,
Full of confidence and courage and unconditional love.
