Expression is a funny word,
A word that isn't often used,
But it is vital when dealing with emotional pain.
Welcome to this meditation for expressing your emotional pain.
Today we are going to express our pain,
Feel it and ultimately heal it.
So just closing your eyes if you already haven't.
Giving yourself permission to relax and embrace this very moment.
Not concerned about the future or the past.
Just right now.
Unclenching your body.
Allowing it to sink into your environment.
It is safe.
It is protected.
You are uncovering deeper realms than just the physical in this meditation.
You are uncovering the emotional,
A layer that is so prominent in our lives.
So important to deal with.
So important to express and not repress.
So just becoming aware of any emotions around your body right now.
At first,
They may feel like subtle sensations within the body.
Like a little pressure feeling within the chest.
Or a strange sensation within the stomach.
This is a prime example of an emotional knot,
A sensory knot within your body.
Noticing any sensations.
Maybe you are feeling heat,
Pressure,
Pain,
Tingling or coolness.
Go there.
It could be in your heart.
It could be in your heart.
It could be in your chest.
It could be in your stomach.
Whether it's uncomfortable or not,
It's okay.
We are not here to judge.
We are not here to make conclusions.
When we express,
We feel.
We allow.
We heal.
Allowing any sensation within the body to come up now.
Any at all.
There are no rules.
Allowing them to be there.
This is ultimate expression.
Allowing them to dance.
Allowing them to change.
Allowing them to be rearranged.
But it's the emotions' decision what it does.
It's the body's decision,
Not the mind's.
Right now,
We are getting out of our minds and into our bodies.
The body has an intelligence of its own.
This includes the emotional body.
They are extremely intelligent and primitive.
They deserve expression,
Freedom,
Unshackled,
Untamed,
Fully embraced,
Flowing inside you without any chains.
If you're getting lost in thought,
Don't worry.
Just coming back to the physical sensations of your whole system.
Coming back to your emotions.
Remembering we are getting out of our minds and into our bodies.
We aren't looking for emotions.
Looking is another trick of the mind.
We are letting the body express itself emotionally.
This is feeling.
Feeling is intuitive.
Feeling is creative.
Feeling is not logical or analytical.
Feeling is healing.
Being curious about what's already there at a fundamental level.
Understanding that your emotions are not bad.
They are here for your own protection and survival.
We are just reprogramming the way we deal with them.
Reprogramming the powerful connection.
Of the mind and body.
The connection that allows miracles to happen.
Just continuing to feel your emotional body.
Being curious about its intricacies.
And having composure in the face of any discomfort.
Just knowing that your emotions are not here to hurt you or put you in danger.
They are here to try their best to help you.
Feel so you can help them heal.
So then just coming back to your body as this meditation comes to an end.
Just taking a big breath in through your nose.
Waking up.
And breathing out through your mouth.
Coming back.
Coming back.
Becoming aware of the world now.
And when you're ready,
Opening your eyes.
Brilliant.
That meditation was all about expressing your emotions.
A very similar concept to expressing emotions is embracing emotions.
They are practically one and the same.
