BELL RINGS Settle your body into a comfortable,

Relaxed posture.

Ensure that your back is straight and your eyes are lowered.

Then take some lovely deep breaths,

Relaxing into your space.

And begin to settle your mind by following the breath.

BELL RINGS Visualise that you're in a most beautiful garden.

Let the images arise naturally.

And let it be a very sensual experience.

Recognise what time of day it is,

The quality of the light,

And the weather.

Encouraging within yourself a very gentle,

Relaxing environment.

Smell the air.

Perhaps there is the scent of flowers or grass.

And you can hear sounds of birdsong,

Water,

Perhaps a gentle breeze.

And enjoy your garden.

Perhaps you're seated,

Enjoying the warmth of the sun on your face,

Or just wandering through it,

Touching branches,

Twigs,

Grass,

Flowers.

Noticing where the path takes you.

And as you look up you can see that beyond your garden there is,

In the distance,

A mountain.

It's safe in your garden,

But there's something within you that is drawn to the mystery,

The majesty,

Of the mountain in the distance.

So knowing you can return whenever you wish,

You leave the garden and start your journey just walking through a landscape.

What can you see on either side of you as you walk your path?

Is it urban or rural?

Is it wild or tame?

No journey is without its challenges.

And you can see up ahead that there's some kind of obstacle in the path.

And if you want to continue,

You must navigate,

Overcome that obstacle.

How do you do it?

But you do it and you continue to getting closer to the mountain now.

Can you feel your heart beat?

Are you excited or nervous or just intrigued?

Because you know you must climb it.

And you're reaching the base of the mountain now and someone appears to help you.

How do they help you?

And then you're climbing.

First of all,

Walking quite steeply.

What is it like climbing at the foot of the mountain?

Are there streams,

Woodland?

Is it rocky,

Sparse,

Vegetation?

It's quite a challenge now.

And you need to use your hands to help you.

Grabbing onto rocks or branches,

Stretching.

Definitely feeling your heart beat and the adrenaline running through yourself.

And as you look up,

You're filled with a sense of anticipation.

And you're really having to climb with your hands,

Your feet,

Holding yourself up.

But the ledge is in sight.

And then,

As you put your hand out to grasp onto that ledge,

A hand reaches down to help you up.

And pulls you up.

And you are so happy to see this person.

There is incredible love between you.

And there you are on the top of the mountain.

As if you're at the centre of the world.

And this is all that matters.

This meeting.

They want to give you something,

Something that is going to help you in your life.

A gift of support.

A gift of love.

And then they give it to you.

And you hold it in your hands.

What is it?

Feel the weight of it.

The size.

Just let the image unfold without pushing.

What is it you've been given?

The colours.

And the meaning of what you have been given.

And there are words spoken.

Perhaps you have a question.

You need guidance and advice.

And then you look down.

And you can see in the distance your delightful garden.

Your home.

And you must leave.

And you're shown a path and there is a farewell because you can return anytime you want.

And you follow the path,

Taking your gift with you.

And as you walk down towards the garden you're filled with a sense of achievement and completion.

And sustenance.

And gradually,

Gradually dissolve the imagery all around you.

And end your meditation,

Gently returning to the space where you started the meditation.

Finding your breath.

And your body.

And ending the meditation when you are ready.
