Hello and welcome to this quick meditation that will help you move out of feeling stuck,
So you can take some much needed action.
I m Juana and I m so excited you re here.
Before we get to the juicy execution part,
Let s settle right in.
Find yourself a position that is relaxed yet alert.
Spine straight,
Let your hands rest softly in your lap or by your sides,
Letting go of any need to hold or grasp.
Bringing your full awareness to your breath,
Notice the natural rhythm of your inhale and exhale.
There s no need to change or control it,
Simply observe.
Feel the coolness of the air as it enters,
The warmth as it leaves.
With each breath,
Begin to release any tension in your body.
Soften your shoulders and drop them away from your ears.
Relax your jaw and your forehead,
And allow your body to sink a little deeper into your seat or the ground beneath you.
As you settle in here,
Imagine a sense of calm washing over you.
Release any thoughts or worries about the past or the future.
Right now,
There s nowhere else you need to be and nothing else you need to do.
This time is just for you,
And only you.
So thank yourself for taking that action to show up here.
With your breath as your anchor,
Begin to gently drift inward,
Allowing yourself to be fully present in this moment,
Fully receptive to the inward journey we are about to undergo.
You ve shown up here because you want to take some action,
But perhaps find yourself unmotivated,
Stuck,
Or simply spinning in circles,
Not going anywhere.
Okay,
Take a big breath in,
And out,
Letting any frustration go on your exhale.
Firstly,
I want you to acknowledge that sometimes action can be scary,
Change can be unsettling.
You are not alone.
Okay,
Bring to mind whatever it is you want to create in your life.
See it in as much vivid detail as possible in your mind's eye.
Grasp onto it with all of your senses.
Ask yourself,
What's stopping me from moving forward on this?
What's preventing me from taking action?
Is it fear,
Analysis paralysis,
Confusion,
Not knowing where to begin,
Overwhelm?
Breathe into it,
And lovingly accept whatever comes up,
Without any judgment for feeling this way.
It's all good.
You can't move past what you resist,
So welcome it with open arms.
Do you feel this resistance come up anywhere in your body?
If so,
Narrow your focus on this spot and just breathe into it.
Give it space.
Let it be.
Accept whatever comes up as a messenger,
Here to reveal to you what's holding you back,
So that you can move past it.
Thank this messenger kindly for sharing.
And let it know that it's okay for it to take a back seat,
As you got this.
You are in the driver's seat and everything will be okay.
Now ask yourself,
How would it feel to accomplish whatever it is you've brought to mind?
Step into that feeling place,
Whether it's elation,
Wholeness,
A sense of completion,
Pride,
Fulfillment,
You name it,
You feel it.
Hmm,
Isn't it interesting that you don't need to reach the end goal in order to feel as if it's already yours?
How powerful is that?
We normally think,
First I'll do,
Then I'll be,
But the power is actually in first being,
Then from that place,
Being inspired to do.
So savor this sense of completion for a few more deep breaths,
As if you have whatever it is you desire.
Yes,
Sure,
There's a lot of magnetism in seeing your goal in your mind's eye and feeling it in your body.
But at some point,
You need to take some inspired action.
Otherwise,
The ideas in your head will be just that,
Ideas.
But it doesn't have to be as difficult as your mind may trick you into thinking.
You simply need to take the next obvious step in front of you,
And then the next,
And the next,
And the next.
You get my drift.
In other words,
Dumb it all down to the next step in front of you.
After all,
You don't climb a mountain by jumping all the way to the top.
You simply take the next step in front of you,
And then the next,
And the next,
And the next,
And eventually you will reach the top.
Your goals are not much different.
Reflect on this.
When a pilot is flying a plane or a captain is steering a ship,
The destination would change entirely if they were just one degree out of sync with their map.
They'd end up in a whole different country or port should they veer off course ever so slightly.
You are the pilot and captain of your life.
So what small maneuver could you make to point you in the right direction of where you'd like to go?
What is that one degree shift you could make as soon as today?
Again,
Don't worry about it getting you all the way there.
Just focus on the next step you can take that's easiest and right in front of you.
Simplify it.
What is the path of least resistance for where you want to go?
Create space for the inspiration to flow to you.
It always does if you quiet and listen.
When you connect with the feeling place of what it is you want as if it's already yours,
Insight always follows.
As you're not pushing away your dreams by thinking they're too hard or not possible for you,
But rather granting yourself permission to want what you want.
And so the inspiration must follow.
And it could be as small as the nudge to go and call someone.
Send that email or enlist in that course.
You can change your entire trajectory by consistently executing on one small task after another,
After another,
And so on and so forth.
You needn't even tackle the hardest thing first.
By taking on the smaller stuff,
You will build up the confidence to conquer the bigger ones head on.
So be easy on yourself and start wherever you can.
When you compound all of these small acts,
The effect of that change down the road can be far,
Far greater than you ever imagined.
So what is stopping you?
Self-doubt?
Hesitation?
Overwhelm?
Use your breath to help you get past it.
Placing one hand on your abdomen,
Take a deep,
Powerful breath in through your nose for a count of three.
Feeling your belly expand as you draw in energy and motivation.
Hold this breath for a count of three,
Letting the energy build up inside.
The fuel you need to take action.
And exhale forcefully through your mouth for a count of three,
Releasing any hesitation or self-doubt with the out-breath.
Keep repeating this three-count breath cycle,
Focusing on a word or intention with each inhale,
Whatever you need to draw in most right now,
Whether that be focus,
Strength,
Confidence,
Or even worthiness.
So,
In 2 3,
Hold 2 3,
Out 2 3.
Again,
In 2 3,
Hold 2 3,
Out 2 3.
In 2 3,
Hold 2 3,
Out 2 3.
On your own now.
Focus.
Strength.
Confidence.
Worthiness.
Breathe in whatever it is you need most right now,
And exhale anything that doesn't serve you.
You got this.
Keep going.
Imagine yourself getting fueled with the motivation you need to take action.
Envision yourself taking that action in your imagination.
And see how that one action ripples into many more to come.
Pause for a moment to feel the energy you've built,
Grounding it and integrating it within you,
Giving you the strength you need to confidently move forward.
Silently and confidently repeat after me.
I love taking action.
Action makes me come alive.
Action gets me the results I want.
One hour of solid action is better than 10 hours of overthinking.
I am ready to take action.
And so it is.
We've reached the end of our time together,
And now it's time for you to take what you've built here and go out and make some real moves.
Whether it be today,
Tomorrow,
A week from now,
The important thing is you commit to taking that next step as we spoke about,
No matter how small.
Remember,
A 1 degree shift can change the whole trajectory of where you end up.
As you prepare to come back,
Take a moment to feel the weight of your body supported by the earth beneath you.
Notice the sensation of the surface you're sitting or laying on,
Grounding you,
Holding you,
Supporting you in the here and now.
Take a deep breath in,
Feeling the coolness of the air as it fills your lungs to the top,
And then slowly release it,
Letting go of any last hesitation holding you back.
Wonderful.
When you're ready,
Begin to bring subtle movements to your fingers and toes,
Wiggling them ever so slightly.
Roll your shoulders,
Gently move your head from side to side,
Bringing back a sense of life and lightness to your body,
And when you feel called,
Softly open your eyes,
Allowing your world to come back into full view.
