Hello and welcome to this meditation to help you create a most fulfilling year ahead.
My name is Juana and I am delighted to guide you.
Please feel free to have a journal set to the side for afterwards so you can write down anything of significance that may have come up during your inward journey.
Start by settling into a comfortable position,
Seated or laying with your spine straight to allow for easy breathing.
Position your hands on your lap or by your side.
Focus on one point in your surroundings in front of you as you allow your eyes to gradually grow heavy and then slowly close.
Let's take a few deep calming breaths together to ground into the here and now,
Inhaling for 5 seconds,
Holding for 5,
And exhaling for 5.
Before we repeat that same pattern again,
For you guessed it,
5 times,
Try breathing in and out through your nose or whatever is most relaxing for you.
You ready?
Here we go.
Breathe in 2,

Hold 2,
3,
4,
5,
Breathe out 2,
3,
4,
5,
You got this,
Inhale 2,
3,
4,
5,
Hold 2,
3,

Exhale 2,

Repeat this pattern 5 more times on your own,
And when you finish,
Transition into a breathing pattern that is most peaceful and grounding to you.
Feel yourself getting calmer and calmer with every breath.
Arrive into this present moment with every breath.
I'd like you to spend these next few moments in your heart center connecting with a deep sense of gratitude for this past year.
Whether it went as you planned or not,
There is at least some gratefulness that you can tap into,
No matter how small.
Whether it's that incredible book you read,
The new friend you made,
That amazing trip you went on,
You name it.
What were some of the highlights,
The big successes,
The tiny wins?
How did they transform you?
How did they show you what is possible?
What were your so-called failures or perceived shortcomings?
In what ways did you grow or learn from them?
How did they provide clarity on what you do want?
What were your biggest lessons?
How would you do things differently this year?
In what ways can you show yourself more love and respect for where you are at in your journey?
Reflect upon one situation in particular that brought you a lot of gratitude and reasons to give thanks.
What was it?
When was it?
Where was it?
Who was involved?
Recollect it in front of your mind's eye.
See,
Hear,
And experience it in every memorable detail.
How did it make you feel?
Connect to that wonderful feeling of appreciation that it gave you.
We're going to do a fun little exercise here.
Purse your lips open as if you were about to suck on a straw.
And with my count of five,
Suck in that gratitude as if you were breathing it all in.
Imagine the gratitude as a white light filling your whole body from your toes to your head.
You ready?
We will start in three,
Two,
One.
So purse your lips and inhale.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
Rest in that gratitude.
Let it fill every cell of your being with good vibrations.
Soak in all that goodness till you can't hold it back anymore.
And when you're ready,
Sigh it all out,
Sharing it back into the world.
Rest in this happiness and warmth that you've created.
From this place of elation,
What is it you want to call in and create this year?
Pay careful attention to what comes to mind.
What is most true for you this next year?
Are there any goals that you're calling in because they are expected of you?
Are they truly aligned to your deepest heart's desires?
Or are they pressure from society,
Friends,
Or family?
Are they from a need to please others to do what you think is right?
Or do they really feel right for you?
Really make sure that these intentions are yours.
So ask yourself,
What is most true for you?
What are your truest goals?
What is most true for you right now?
Be curious about the answer.
Ask what is keeping you from your authentic goals?
Are there any blocks you need to be made aware of?
Allow your intuition to speak to you.
How can you overcome these blocks to allow more in?
Ask your inner wisdom.
What can you shed and let go of to get you closer to what you really want?
Imagine what you want as if it's already happened.
How would that look?
How would that feel?
Who would you be?
How would you act?
Embody the person you would be as if your heartfelt wishes and goals did come true.
Feel thankful for what you want as if it's already here.
Visualize your dreams playing out right in front of you,
And we're going to once again breathe it all in.
So purse your lips,
And let's breathe in that gratitude.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
Allow this gratitude to move through your entire body,
Filling every part of your being.
Embody it fully.
And when you can't hold it in anymore,
Sigh it all out.
Spend these next few moments in your heart center once again in appreciation for the year to come,
And all the incredible opportunities,
Moments,
People and places that you will experience.
Isn't it amazing that you don't actually need your desires to have come to fruition in order for you to connect with the joy you believe they would bring into your life?
So why not live more from this joyful place?
Ask yourself,
How can I bring more happiness into my life on the journey to achieving my desires and intentions?
Once again,
Listen to yourself.
Really listen.
Place both your hands on top of your heart,
And breathe in all that gratitude you've created during our short session together.
Feel grateful for all the inner wisdom you've received,
Silently affirm to yourself by repeating after me,
I choose to live from a space of gratitude.
I choose to enjoy the journey,
And not only the destination.
I choose to connect with myself and listen to my intuition.
I choose to love and respect myself,
No matter my accomplishments.
I choose to see myself as inherently worthy of my dreams and goals.
I choose my best year yet,
And so it is.
When you're ready,
Take a few conscious breaths that fully connect you to your body.
Observe where your body makes contact with the chair,
Floor or bed beneath you.
As you bring your full awareness to the room around you,
Wiggle your fingers,
Then your toes,
Gently shrug your shoulders,
And open your eyes.
