Hello and welcome to this quick daily meditation to help you tune into your body's wisdom.
My name is Juana and I am so delighted you could join me.
Feel free to do this meditation seated,
Laying,
Or even walking.
Let's begin with some affirmations to land here and now.
As you breathe in nice and slowly,
Silently affirm to yourself,
I am here.
And as you breathe out,
Affirm,
And only here.
So inhale,
I am here.
And exhale,
Only here.
I am here.
And only here.
A few more times on your own.
I am here.
And only here.
The bridge to the present is through the body.
So let's connect to the present by connecting with your body.
Become aware of the sensations that are happening in your body right here,
Right now.
You may notice the feeling of air on your skin.
A tingly sensation in your hands.
The subtle feeling of aliveness within them.
Or the rise and fall of your chest with every breath you take.
Perhaps you're noticing where your body makes contact with the ground.
What is it that pulls your attention the most?
Go there now.
Allow your focus to rest only on this.
Let it absorb and pull you right into it.
Observe how this feeling is happening neither in the past nor future,
But rather right here,
Right now.
Relax into it.
Let go of the need to be or go elsewhere to escape this moment.
Simply be in this space of no thought.
Just you and your body.
As you rest in this peaceful gap,
Allow your body to speak to you.
What does your body want to tell you today?
What does it need?
How can you better align with it?
Is there anything you can do to better support it?
Listen.
Notice any subtle cues or messages it may be sending you.
Is your attention focused in on one particular area?
Have faith in your body's wisdom.
Thank it for sharing.
Take this moment to appreciate your body and all it does for you each and every day without you giving much of a thought about it.
From your heart pumping blood to your lungs taking in fresh oxygen and your intestines digesting nutritious food,
Feel a spark of gratitude as a white light emanating from your heart and expanding to spread healing energy wherever it is needed.
Trust in your body's ability to heal and nurture itself.
Just as you grew from a tiny embryo to a full-grown human being,
Your body knows what to do.
Feel your natural well-being flow to you.
Breathe it in.
And so it is.
It's now time to transition out of this meditation,
So shift your focus from inwards to outwards.
Wiggle your fingers.
Then toes.
And when you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
Taking a moment to notice how you feel.
Carry the sense of connection and inner body awareness with you as you go about your day.
