Hello and welcome to this quick practice to help center,
Ground,
And align you.
My name is Juana and it's my absolute pleasure to guide you.
Feel free to listen to this while in bed,
Getting ready,
Commuting,
On your lunch break.
You may not have the time to do this while sitting still,
So wherever this finds you is all good.
Setting a daring intention for your day is way better than going with wherever the pressures of everyday living take you.
It's more advantageous to be the one in control than be thrown around by the whims of the world.
Okay,
Let's take a moment to center and ground ourselves.
Begin by bringing a gentle smile to your lips,
Softening the muscles in your face.
Allow your body to relax.
Letting go of any stress.
If you notice any tightness in your body,
Kindly invite it to release.
And if there's any tension in your thoughts,
Set aside any distractions,
Creating space in your mind to receive.
To help you slow down and be even more fully present,
I'd love for you and I to take three deep breaths together.
Ready?
Here we go.
Take a nice slow breath in through your nose,
Fill your lungs all the way up,
And then exhale,
Letting go of any last remaining tension you might be holding.
All right,
Let's do it again.
Inhale deeply,
Feeling your chest rise,
And exhale,
Relaxing and releasing.
And one more time,
Take a deep,
Full breath in,
And exhale slowly,
Letting go of whatever you don't need right now.
And one more time.
Wonderful.
Welcome to the present.
Today,
I dare you to love your life.
Fall madly and deeply in love with it.
Yep,
The good,
The bad,
And especially the ugly.
You are given this life for a reason.
You are here for a reason.
And you really think it was to hate it?
Okay,
Maybe hate is a bit extreme.
More like not appreciate it,
Or feel that your life is somehow less than,
Or doesn't quite measure up.
Does a tree ever compare itself to other trees?
Feeling inadequate for not being tall enough or having enough leaves?
So why do we?
After all,
We're part of nature too.
You are a living,
Walking miracle.
So embrace it by enjoying this precious gift you've been blessed with.
If you think about it,
Isn't that really the ultimate purpose of life?
No matter your job title,
Relationship status,
Or financial situation,
To simply enjoy it,
Give thanks,
And brighten up the lives of others?
Now that,
My friends,
Is a life worth living.
Most people on their deathbed don't wish they'd worked harder.
Rather,
They wish they'd laughed more,
Finding happiness even in difficult times.
They also wish they'd been less busy,
Slowing down to appreciate life's small,
Precious moments.
Do not wait till the end to fully realize what you can do today.
Like right now.
So no matter where you find yourself,
Your mantra for this whole day is,
I love my life.
I love my life.
I love my life.
Even if you don't fully believe it,
Or think it's silly,
Keep repeating it.
Over and over again,
Like a song stuck in your head.
Silently or out loud,
Repeat,
I love my life.
I love my life.
I love my life.
Feel it to your very core.
I love my life.
Over and over.
Over and over.
I love my life.
I love my life.
I love my life.
On your own for a bit.
And once you're finished,
Allow yourself to receive all the reasons for which you do love your life.
What is there to appreciate about your unique and wondrous journey?
Your ego may intervene,
Telling you there's little worth celebrating.
But have you stopped to admire a sunrise or sunset lately?
Or really take a notice of your breathing?
That simple yet profound reminder that you are alive?
Have you really sunk into a deep meditation?
Sunk into the warmth of a hug?
Or the soft touch of a loved one lately?
Or relished a moment of laughter that made your soul light right up?
What about the sublime joy in a quiet cup of coffee in the morning?
Or the way your favorite song can instantly shift your mood?
Or how about the beauty of the natural world?
The way a flower grows tall and proud?
Or the brilliant colors of the sky after it rains?
What else is there to love?
The ability to learn something new?
The kindness of a stranger?
Or even the resilience you've shown through tough times?
The simple act of being here in this exact moment,
Despite all your trials and tribulations,
Is worth celebrating.
Your life,
With all its imperfections,
Is uniquely yours.
A story unfolding.
A masterpiece in progress.
And when you choose to see it,
Really see it,
You'll find there's always something to be grateful for,
Even on the hardest of days.
Ironically,
The little things often end up being the biggest things.
So I'd love for you to set up a reminder that triggers your mantra throughout the day.
That reminder could be as simple as every time you stop at a traffic light,
Or before you use your phone or send an email,
Or any time you are doing something that brings you even the slightest delight.
Before every meal or connecting with a friend,
You got it.
In those moments,
Silently and in your head repeat,
I love my life.
I love my life.
I love my life.
Try and say it at least a hundred times today.
If not more,
I double,
Triple dare you.
And with that,
We conclude our little session.
Thank you so much for joining me.
Please comment,
I love my life,
If you accept this challenge today.
It was my absolute pleasure to guide you and join me again tomorrow.
Blessings to you,
Beautiful soul.
