And welcome to this calming beach meditation.
My name is Wanna,
And I'm happy to guide you through this deeply relaxing day at the beach.
Before we set off on our little getaway,
Let's begin by settling down both our body and mind.
So find a comfortable position,
Whether that be seated or laying down,
With a straight spine that allows for easy,
Clear breathing.
Rest your hands loosely either on your lap or by your side.
Now close your eyes and become aware of your breathing.
Feel your belly rise on the inhale and feel it fall on the exhale.
Take this chance to land here fully with three deep breaths in and out.
Make your first breath long,
Slow,
And deep.
Exhale through your nose and carry that breath all the way down into your stomach.
Hold your breath here for just a brief moment and then exhale through your mouth,
Allowing your exhale to carry away all stress and tension in your body.
Another slow breath in through your nose,
Filling your lungs completely,
Holding it there for a moment,
And then releasing the breath through your mouth,
Emptying your lungs completely,
Feeling any tension in your body dissolving away.
Now for our third breath in,
Inhale completely,
Hold it at the top,
And then let it all go,
Relaxing your entire body as you do so.
Allow your breathing rhythm to return to normal.
I am going to count down from 10 to 1,
And in this time,
I would like you to make yourself as comfortable as you possibly can.
Soften your jaw,
Relax your shoulders,
Allow your body to find deep rest completely supported by the ground beneath it.
So let's start.
Ten,
Breathe deeply throughout.
Nine,
Let it all go.
Eight,
Relax completely.
Seven,
Six,
Five.
You are getting more and more relaxed as the countdown progresses.
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
You are now in a state of complete peace and relaxation as if you were spending the day all alone at a quiet beach.
In fact,
Imagine yourself there right now,
Resting on the soft,
Warm sand beneath you,
Basking in the peaceful sounds of the waves going in and out,
Just like your breath.
Feeling the ocean breeze lightly caressing your skin as you breathe in that delicious smell of salt in the air.
Yes,
It's so good to be here.
Allow yourself to fully enjoy this moment.
Look in the sunshine,
Allow it to revitalize you.
Feel the rays melting away any last tension in your body,
Helping you transition into an even deeper state of relaxation.
Synchronize your breath with the serene sound of the ocean.
Exhale with the wave coming up to shore and exhale with the wave leaving the shore.

Two,
Three,
Four.

If your mind wanders off,
That's okay.
Just notice and bring it back to the movement of the waves and your breath.

As you rest here,
Silently affirm to yourself,
I am so relaxed.
I am so at peace.
I am so grounded.
I am so relaxed.
Isn't it wonderful to know that you can escape at any time you choose just by finding a quiet moment to yourself?
You don't need to go to the real beach in order to reap the benefits of time spent there.
Your imagination is a powerful tool that can bring you much tranquility,
So use it to your benefit.
As I count you back from five to one and transition you back into the real world,
Take this deep sense of calm back with you into your day.

Reconnect with your body.
Four,
Reconnect with the space around you.
Three,
Wiggle your fingers.
Two,
Wiggle your toes.
And one,
Flutter open your eyes.
