The modern parenting journey is intense, and often we feel isolated, overwhelmed and like we have an impossible task ahead of us. You are doing the best you can. Tune into this practice to face your anger with love and acceptance. To hear the message that the anger is trying to send to you, to heal and move forward. Your family sees how hard you try, the universe sees how hard you try. Now it is time to send love to yourself and support your way through the bumps on the parenting journey. Today with Sinead Duncan Facing and friending your anger I know I know it gets too much sometimes I know that you often feel overwhelmed I know that sometimes you wonder how you'll get through That you wish you had more support I know that sometimes you face the impossible task ahead of you With anxiety And shaken confidence And in these moments that you lose control Where you lose your patience Where you can't find your footing Or a calm breath Please,

First remember It is not your fault This is hard Parenting is very hard And often you feel alone in this mission Remember now that you are not alone There are times that we all feel the hot rage bubble up within We all act in ways or say things that we instantly regret You are human,

Dear one You are human Now close your eyes Place a hand on your heart And tune in There is a soft,

Loving,

Hopeful parent here You are doing the best you can Tune in to this soft tenderness that lives at your heart Feel its ache Its vulnerability Feel the power of the love Its purity in intention And now breathe All the way down to your toes With each breath,

Fill your body with love Forgiveness And acceptance You are worthy,

Dear one You are enough You are worthy You are enough Now repeat this to yourself Whenever you feel alone Ashamed Isolated Remember That I stand here with you As do all parents We are all human We are all enough Now come back to your breath With each moving breath Allow this tender forgiveness To bring you back to who you really are A parent trying their hardest We can't change overnight But we can learn We can keep trying We can repair We can heal Keep your hand on your heart Breathe deeply We can keep trying We can repair We can heal Your breath becomes softer The softness radiating out from this loving tender heart That powerful parental love that you hold You extend to the whole of you With forgiveness Kindness And purity in intention Stay here and breathe for as long as you feel this energy Begin to bask and glow In this feeling that you can send through the whole of your being You are filling your cup,

Dear one You're bringing yourself back to who you really are One breath at a time

I just wish it was longer. Being reminded to offer myself compassion as a mom is so important for me. This is hard and that’s ok. Thank you.
