Welcome.

Welcome to this yoga nidra practice.

This yoga nidra practice that is here to support you in your sankalpa practice,

To help you manifest and call forth what it is that you'd like to create as your reality.

My advice is,

If you're working with a specific goal,

Is that you tune in and practice this or something similar regularly to support you in your journey.

So get comfortable now.

Find a quiet room,

Somewhere that you won't be disturbed.

And lay down.

Perhaps you're lying down on your bed,

On the sofa,

On a floor.

Wherever it is,

Just make sure that you are comfortable in a room where you will not be disturbed.

And support yourself up however you need to.

Make sure you're warm enough.

And then once you find that super cozy nest,

Just wriggle around a little bit as if you could nestle yourself deeper into a cocoon of comfort.

Find the perfect place to become still.

And then become still.

And as you become still,

Your body begins a process of settling.

It's a slow one.

And if you wish to,

You can watch it happen as it settles.

Feel into your limbs,

Your feet,

And your hands,

And your legs,

And your arms.

And notice how they can become heavier.

Notice how heavy they feel now.

And feel as though they're becoming heavier with each exhale that you take.

And tune into your joints,

Especially your major joints,

And your shoulders,

And your hips.

And it's as if they become more spacious.

And now with your eyes closed,

Begin to open your senses.

Cast your sense of hearing outwards.

What sounds do you hear around you?

Notice the sounds that you hear from outside of this room,

And the sounds that you hear from within the room.

And without labelling them or judging them,

Allow your awareness to move from sound to sound as though you simply pick up their vibrational quality with your sense of hearing.

Now your nostrils here.

Take a deep inhale through both nostrils.

Notice the temperature and the texture of the air as it travels into your body.

And then begin to notice the temperature and the texture of the air as it begins to leave your body.

There's a difference.

You can feel it.

Now notice the parts of your body that are covered with clothing or covers,

And feel this relative sense of warmth.

Notice the sensation of clothing and covers against your skin.

And then tune into the parts of your body that are not covered,

Where the skin meets the air around you.

Feel the relative sense of coolness.

And it's almost as though you can feel the currents of air as they gently pass over every cell of your being,

As they gently pass over your skin here.

Take a look at the space behind your closed eyelids.

With soft eyes,

What do you see?

Perhaps it's nothing.

Perhaps it's shapes,

Imagery,

Colours.

And settle even deeper now.

You notice that your body is beginning to feel more deeply relaxed.

You are receiving rest,

And you're tuning into this open state of being.

You're becoming the receptive version of yourself,

Magnetic.

Now bring awareness to your third eye centre.

Tuning in again to this powerful sense of vision,

Can you envision what you wish to call forth in your life?

Whether this be material,

Emotional,

Psychic or spiritual,

Begin to see with your mind's eye what it is that you wish to call forth.

What it is that you wish to bring into your day-to-day reality.

And as you see this,

Now feel it.

Be surrounded by this image.

Now,

With your cognitive mind,

Begin to sum it up in a present-day sentence.

As if this sankalpa,

This manifestation,

Is already happening.

So for an example,

If you wish to choose love instead of resentment and anger,

Your sankalpa might be as simple as,

I am love.

If you're looking to manifest something in the material world,

Like a job,

You could say,

I am,

And then follow it with the job title.

Perhaps you're looking to manifest a relationship,

And it could be something like,

My relationship brings me joy and growth.

You'll notice that any sentence that you use is said in the present tense as if it's already happening.

We take time out of the equation.

This sankalpa is already coming to fruition.

Now repeat the sentence to yourself a few times in your head.

Let the words land and resonate throughout the whole of your being.

Once you've repeated it a few times,

Let it go.

You have asked the universe,

Now is the time to practice.

Your awareness lands back in the third eye,

The part of you that is the seer.

You're tuning in to your own energy of intuition and insight.

Feel the whole of yourself softening and expanding around this energy center.

And from this place,

We're going to send our awareness through the whole of our body.

You don't need to do anything.

When I name the body part,

Simply take your awareness there.

Feel for what comes up.

Notice the sensations.

Allow yourself to see and receive messages from yourself.

We're starting at the third eye space.

Allow this awareness to almost split into two directions and drop down to both eyes.

You feel into both eyes the space around the eyes,

The space behind the eyes.

What messages do you receive,

Especially when this part of the body is resting?

Drop the awareness down to the tip of the nose and both nostrils,

To both cheekbones,

Cheeks,

The corners of your mouth,

The upper lip and the lower lip,

The upper row of teeth,

The lower row of teeth,

And the tongue.

From the mouth,

Your awareness drops down to the chin and splits into two and draws back to both sides of the jaw.

When this part of your being is soft and receiving rest,

What messages or sensations do you receive from this part of you,

From the jaw?

Drop the awareness down to the space at the centre and the base of the throat.

And from the space in between the two collarbones,

Now move outwardly through both collarbones,

Along to each shoulder joint.

From the shoulders down through the upper arms,

The elbows,

The forearms into the wrists and then into the palms of both of the hands.

Notice sensation and feeling that comes up when your awareness is in the palms of both of your hands,

The back of your hands,

And the tip in turn of each of your thumbs,

Index fingers,

Middle fingers,

Ring fingers,

And little fingers.

The seer part of you steps back and you feel the whole of your fingers,

Thumbs,

Hands,

Arms,

Shoulders,

Throat,

And face.

You're holding this whole part of your being in your awareness and receiving messages as you also receive deep rest.

And you land at the space at the base of the throat once more and you drop your awareness down deeper now to the very centre of the chest,

The place where you hold your energetic heart centre.

Tune in.

What is it that you feel here?

Do images come up?

Do you notice sensations?

If you feel nothing,

That's a message also.

And it's a wonderful message to be able to receive.

Move this awareness outwards to both sides of the ribcage,

Down to both sides of the waist,

And then back in towards the navel centre.

Diving deep into the depths of your being with your awareness here.

Feeling through your gut,

Your stomach,

Your organ contents,

And even deeper onto a layer that can't be seen but can definitely be felt.

What comes up?

And your awareness drops down to the space at the pelvis,

Both sides of the pelvis,

The bony crest,

And the space right at the centre of the pelvis.

You feel the organ contents that live within,

And your awareness is still diving deeper,

So that you feel into the energetic centres that you hold here,

Down even further to the very root of the pelvis.

What do you feel?

What do you notice?

And this awareness travels through both hip joints,

Down through the thighs,

The knees,

The lower legs,

And into the ankles.

As you pick up sensations and messages from your legs,

You then move your awareness down into your feet,

Starting through the tops of the feet,

Into each and every one of the toes,

The big toes,

Second toes,

Third toes,

Fourth toes,

And fifth toes.

And now all the way along the soles of the feet,

The balls of the feet,

The insteps,

The outer arches,

And the heels.

And you experience now the whole of your feet,

From ankles to the tips of the toes,

Receiving messages of comfort,

Of rest,

Receiving the sensation of being alive.

Drawing your awareness up the back of your body now,

Starting at both the heels and coming up through the Achilles tendons at the back of the ankles,

Into the calf muscles,

The backs of the knees,

And the backs of the thighs,

And up all the way into the buttocks.

Allow them to rest heavy.

The back of the pelvis,

The lower back,

The middle back,

The upper back,

And both of the shoulder blades,

The backs of the shoulders.

This awareness travels now through the back of the neck,

All the way up into the back of the skull,

Travelling forward slightly to both ears.

And allow your awareness to dive quite deep into the ears now.

At first you feel the outer architecture of the ears,

The curves and the valleys,

And your awareness drops deeper still,

Into the inner architecture of the ear.

This area that receives sound vibration,

All the way back up to the crown of the head now.

Feel your awareness shining at the crown of the head.

What messages do you receive?

What sensations are here?

And land your awareness where you started,

At the space between the eyebrows.

This part of you steps back once more and you witness the whole of your being.

You witness and you experience the whole of you,

Vibrating at a high frequency,

In a deep state of rest,

Fully held in the light of your awareness.

Every cell humming,

Buzzing with a positive charge.

The whole of you,

Resting deeply and yet so alive.

You bring your awareness back to your third eye once more and you bring back this vision of your Sankalpa.

Now you experience it with all of your senses.

Dive into what it looks like.

Where is this?

Where are you in this Sankalpa?

As you explore the landscape of this new reality that you will bring forth,

That you are bringing forth into your day-to-day life,

What do you see around you?

What noises do you hear?

How does it smell?

Are there any taste sensations that come up?

How does the new environment feel?

How does this new way feel for you?

Immerse yourself completely with this vision of this new reality that you are bringing forth into your day-to-day life.

Become enthralled with what you see,

What you experience,

What you hear.

Let yourself savour every moment,

Every detail.

Dive in.

Every part of you is that reality.

And as you're in this reality,

You know that you are in the process of calling this,

Calling this into your life.

Experience this for a few moments longer.

And now let that exploration go.

Your awareness dives now into your breath.

You become aware of each inhale,

Each exhale,

And you begin to count backwards on your breath,

From nine to zero,

With each exhale that you take.

So your next exhale will be the number nine.

Your next exhale will be the number eight,

And so forth,

Until you reach zero.

If you lose track of where you're going to,

Or you get to zero,

Start again.

No judgement.

Stay with this exploration every exhale.

Diving deeper,

Dropping down further,

Shedding more layers.

And now wherever your awareness wandered off to,

Bring it back to the here and the now.

To your whole body,

Your whole being.

So deeply relaxed,

Open,

Receptive,

Magnetic.

Experience the whole of you now.

Down to every cell,

Every part of you.

Vibrating at a high frequency.

So relaxed,

And yet so alive.

And in this state of receptivity,

Of magnetism,

Call forth your statement,

Your sankalpa.

Repeat it to yourself three times.

And now once more,

Let it go.

Truly let it go now.

You have asked the universe.

You are a fractal of the universe,

And you have asked the universe for this reality.

Let it go.

The universe has heard this message.

You slowly allow your awareness to come back into the here and the now,

Into this room.

In your mind's eye,

You see the four walls,

The ceiling above.

You see the setting in which you are resting,

And you see yourself resting here.

And you tune into the sounds once more,

Sounds nearby,

Sounds further away.

Bringing this back into the day-to-day of the material world,

Back into this reality.

You flare your nostrils,

Take a deep inhale,

And you notice temperature,

Texture of the air,

And the difference in the temperature and the texture of the air as you exhale.

And as you come back into your everyday waking state of being,

Now comes the work of the practical steps to realize your sankalpa.

But you know that you have aligned yourself across time and space,

So that you are able to call this new reality into form.

Take your time.

Maybe you wriggle your fingers,

You wriggle your toes,

Roll wrists,

Ankles,

Go for a nice big stretch,

Perhaps roll onto one side,

And give yourself as long as you need to come back into this space.
