Welcome to your meditation aimed to cultivate a sense of self-empowerment,

Before we get started,
Please note that we will be doing a body scan during this meditation.
If you do not have any of the body parts I mentioned,
Just focus on the last body part until we move on.
All bodies are lovingly welcome here.
Also we will be working with the chakra bodies today.
If any of your senses are awakened during this process,
Know that this is normal and try to be as accepting as possible of any sensations that may or may not occur in your body.
Continue to breathe and know that you are completely safe.
We will work through a guided meditation where we will ask each of your seven chakras to be filled with the loving energy of the universe so that you can go on feeling comfortable,
Complete,
And at peace with the ups and downs of life.
Go ahead and get as comfortable as possible in any position that feels best for you.
Just be sure that your spine is mostly straight as you either sit or lie down.
Adjust any clothing,
Adjust hair,
Maybe grab a pillow or blanket if you'd like.
When you're ready,
Just begin to observe the pace of your breathing.
Observing the inhales and exhales.
And if it feels good to you,
Close down the eyes.
We'll stay here just a moment to settle in and listen to our breath.
If it's accessible,
Place the left hand over your heart and the right hand over your belly.
Feel the inhales and exhales lengthen as you settle in to feeling your body breathe here.
Feel the chest rise in your left hand and your belly rise in your right hand as you take some nice deep inhales and feel how the chest and belly fall gently as you take long and complete exhales.
Continue to breathe here peacefully.
Here holding your precious heart and your precious belly,
Take a few moments to thank yourself for showing up for yourself today and taking time out of your day to nurture yourself and nourish your nervous system.
What a wonderful gift to give yourself and a wonderful next step on your journey.
Now go ahead and move your hands to your sides if you're lying down or on your lap if you're sitting.
And if it's comfortable,
Place the palms facing upwards and let's set the intention that we are open to receiving the universe's guidance during today's meditation.
Start by visualizing the most beautiful night sky that you've ever seen.
Miles away from any tall buildings or traffic.
You can see this night sky go on for miles as the stars are lit up so clearly for your viewing tonight.
Maybe you see a shooting star.
Maybe you notice the moon and her color and shape tonight.
Maybe some stars are twinkling brighter than others.
One star in particular begins to stand out to you.
It's bigger and brighter than the other stars and it seems to be twinkling right at you almost as if it's saying hello and acknowledging you as you gaze right back to say hello.
This star begins to send down a beam of beautiful white light,
A healing white light created just for you.
The white light travels down all the way through the night sky as it reaches the crown of your head and it begins to enter your head and fill all of the spaces of your forehead,
Your eyes,
Nose,
Mouth,
Chin,
Through your jaw,
Your ears and the back of your head.
This white light is now traveling down your neck,
To your shoulders,
Down your arms,
Filling the hands and back up the arms.
It begins to fill the chest,
Down to your belly and all down your spine and back and into your hips and your pelvis.
Now traveling down your thighs,
Filling your knees and your lower legs all the way through to your feet and until you are completely filled with this white light.
The white light is so vibrant and healing that it has now pushed away any stress or tension within the body and it has now transmuted any negative frequencies in the body.
Right now you are receiving exactly what you need to prepare you for the next steps to tapping into your chakra bodies.
Breathe here now peacefully and gently,
Feeling the white light filling you completely for your highest good.
Now bring your attention to the very base of your spine where your tailbone sits.
Visualize your root chakra where we connect with Mother Earth and where Mother Earth passes her strength and her grounding energy to us.
Visualize now a glowing red light at the very base of your spine.

Begin to repeat the following affirmation to yourself quietly in your mind.

Gently bring your attention back to your root chakra and the glowing red light of your root chakra.
Give thanks to your root chakra for its important job in your body.
Now move your attention up slightly to your lower belly just below the belly button.
Here lies your sacral chakra and is connected to feelings of passion,
Creativity and desire.
Visualize now a glowing orange light in your lower belly.

Bring your attention back to your sacral chakra and the glowing orange light in your lower belly.

Now move your attention up slightly to your upper belly just below your ribs.
Here lies your solar plexus chakra and is connected to feelings of power,

Motivation and freedom of choice.
Visualize now a glowing yellow light in your upper belly area.
Repeat the following affirmation.

Bring your attention back to your solar plexus chakra and the glowing yellow light in your upper belly.

Move your attention up to the center of your chest where your heart chakra lies.
The heart chakra is connected with feelings of peace,

Visualize a glowing green light in the center of your chest.

Bring your attention back to the third eye chakra,

The crown of your head.
Here lies your crown chakra and the crown chakra is where we connect to spirit and the universal consciousness and where we experience transformation and heightened spiritual powers.
Visualize a glowing light purple light on the crown of your head.

Bring your attention back to the crown chakra and the glowing light purple light at the crown of your head.
Give thanks to your crown chakra for its important job within your body.
You are now flushed with healing light through all seven chakras and nourished each chakra body with loving and accepting energy.
Stay here for a few rounds of deep breathing and bask in the light that you've created within.
Keeping the eyes closed,
Gently change your focus back to your physical body.
Feel where your body comes in contact with the surface you are sitting or lying on.
Make a few movements to the lower half of your body,
Maybe rotating the ankles,
Maybe bending one knee and then the other.
And with the eyes still closed,
Make a few gentle movements to the upper body,
Maybe wiggling the fingers,
Maybe shrugging the shoulders a few times.
Now,
Bring the hands to prayer position over the heart.
Feel the thumbs gently press into the heart chakra,
Your source of love and gratitude.
Feel the gratitude flow for all that is.
What unites us is more important and more real than what divides us.
If you feel ready,

Take in your surroundings.
Take your time to notice any changes in how you feel from the start of this meditation.
